Super newbie LED closet grow (picss), help appreciated

Heyy everyone!

This is my veryyyy first time growing. I'm using three Sunshine Systems glow panels (came as a deal) and about a month ago added one 240w blackstar.

First of all I just want to say I know that those sunshine system glowpanels are shit (for flowering, at least...). We got them in the very beginning and I did a little more research and got a better light. We'll be a grow tent and a 400w hps light next week We have a total of 9 plants right now. 2 trainwrecks, 2 diamond og's, 3 diablo og's....and honestly right now i can't remember what the other 2 are haha They're in three gallon pots, FFOF soil, & using the grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom nutes from fox farm. Vegged them for 2-3 weeks, and this is the 9th week of the 12/12 cycle. Some are more ahead than others but they're all starting to bud!!! yayyy

I had some problems earlier with nutrient deficiency but I flushed them and have been doing pretty good so far. Had a little problem with powdery mildew because the humidity was so high but after I bought some organic spray, put an oscilating fan and a carbon filter in, haven't seen any trace of it in a few weeks. In the beginning I was also watering them with ph corrected tap water, but the guy from my local hydroponics store told me to buy the 5 gallon jugs and fill it up at those water stations. Can't believe I didn't think of that earlier I know its not the best grow in the world.....but hey its my first time i'm learning

do you think the lights are too low? i heard the lower they are, the better. wellll thats all for now. Please give me some tips or suggestions

Did you say they've been on a 12/12 cycle for 9 weeks? Is that from seed or after the veg period? Honestly, ditch the glowpanels and get better, more powerful leds.

and i know man, i hate those lights! i trusted my room mate in the beginning to buy the lights...which is why i got the blackstar a little while ago. but i know we need more light..im just working with what i've got for now :/ the good LED's are so expensive!!

Yeah 9 weeks of 12/12 they should be about done...those look like they will need another 9 weeks once you get better lights. props for making due with what you got though!

yeah i know they're tiny and wont yield that much. it was fun though and now i know what to change and improve on next time plus i get to smoke some free dankydank
I just checked out your snow dream closet grow. mine is SO SAD compared to yours hahaha shiet what LED grow light do you suggest?

Glad youre having fun with it and learning in the process, that's what growing is all about! Thanks for checking out my snow dream...i use and recommend advancedledlights.com but they are really the only leds I have firsthand experience with.

Notice how one of your plants grew from the 28w LED growsystem LED and wen't toward the more powerful LED.. I use the same LED but I supplement mine with other lights. Check it out.

Thank you for showing us what happens with sub par LED lighting. (Buyer beware) Don't feel bad, I've tortured plenty of plants too!!

Hopefully my next grow will be significantly better with the new lights i'll be getting. i can't believe i got those sunshine system glow panels they are pretty awful...
Popping some Cinderella 99 seeds today and getting a grow tent & hps 400w soon. I'll still be growing with my blackstar in my closet and i'll be using those sunshine system panels for the vegging stage. I was pretty unorganized this grow because I was very busy with school but I want to do it right next time!

Hey guys, this is my 2nd day of flowering in 12/12. Started from fem seeds on 10/14 then 24 hr light. Plants all have 90W LED's, white widow and super silver haze. Plant heights range from 9" to 16". All I have for nut's is Moondust. I was told by Sunlight Sheds that this is all I would need for both veg and bloom, so we'll see how it goes. I started flowering alittle early since plant heights varied so much. I topped last week, change my res every week or so, and trimmed half the bottoms about a quarter of the way up. These LED's were $199 each. Doesn't seem like they will penetrate well, but time will tell. Also using the CO2 bucket system, and it seems to be well worth it. Gotta roll one, so I'll see ya.

I have the same set up. I grow Blue Mystic, 2 at a time. I veg for 2 months under the 45 Glowpanel. I like to use LST. Than I put BM under the BS 240 for 2 months. Perfect for a hobby grow. I LIKE my 45 Glowpanel . The warranties works for 1 year. Good for a HOBBY GROW. I like both my lights!

I have the same set up. I grow Blue Mystic, 2 at a time. I veg for 2 months under the 45 Glowpanel. I like to use LST. Than I put BM under the BS 240 for 2 months. Perfect for a hobby grow. I LIKE my 45 Glowpanel . The warranties works for 1 year. Good for a HOBBY GROW. I like both my lights!
