I'm putting an update up tomorrow. Today when I finally decided i was gonna do it, I looked at the clock and the lights were turning off in 20 minutes.

Figured I better go ahead and post these pics because it doesn't look like I'll b able to do my usual huge update. Here my two SSH plants. I actually think they're ready, but I like the saying 'If you think they're ready, give them another week', though I'll be giving them 2 more weeks. I gave them their last feeding today and from here out will be giving them plain water and Earth Juice Catalyst (molasses plus extra good stuff) for the next 2 weeks before I pull them. It'll be week 10 when then come down. Not bad for SSH really. Anyways, here they are.

very noice well they look good n rdy for me but i haven't harvested that much
Thanks Mugsey, but you plants are much healthier than mine and the yeild isn't as big as it looks in the picture. If I get 2 ounces I'd be amazed, but it's ok, this was a salvage project for me and in that sense, I've already accomplished my goal.
When I started I had 22 SSH's. After some tragedy, I ended up with only 5 plants total (3 females and 2 males). I was almost gonna throw them away and start over but thankfully Kev convinced me not to so I just thought I'd make a bunch of seeds so I could try it again next time. I also wanted to grow this strain once to get acquainted with it's characteristics.

. You probably know about Las Vegas HS and Eldorado (El Dog) and all that huh? lol
Small world for real. I live on Charleston and Nellis right up the street from you mayne! Right behind the wal-mart.
I laid a whole mess of block indoors at Las Vegas High School 17 years ago. Easiest job I ever had. Spent many hours standing or sitting on scaffold waiting for cuts. All those four inch brown flutes the indoor layed were easy. There was a big outdoor crew working their ass off in the 115 degree heat while we goofed off in the shade. They were laying heavy splitface and a small indoor crew laying light four highs but you had to have some bricklayer in you to lay the fours. Most guys started indoors, failed and were shipped outdoors. Nice job, crazy old dago named Michaels masonry.
I also built a ton of those walls for Lewis homes that you live in or near. I probaly stuffed my empty beer cans in your wall as we drank mostly all day long.

But what brought me to this thread, (I have just skimmed through it) is SSH. On BT's rec I got some. Planted 5, 2 males that I tossed and three fems. One finished 8 weeks after starting 12/12 and the other two are not done. Yesterday was 11 weeks in 12/12 after three week veg. They dont have green leaves like yours do. Mine are all shriveled up, turned yellow and brown and theres few left.
Tall plant, Nice spear shaped colas. Some over a foot long. I heard some people say they got SSH and it was more indica then sativa and if they go over 12 weeks its mostly sativa
Anyway good job and good luck

I forgot to mention that the school was built right near the dump and where the wash always went through to the lake. It stuck to high heaven and I always hoped it did not stink forever.

But there use to be some really neat trails back there. You could go all the way to the Lake. Back in the late 60's and early 70's the wash was wide open, Lots of bamboo and lush vegetation. Lots of seeds were tossed and planted. You could hike the wash in Sep and find plants. Probaly still can in parts although I think between the wastewater treatment and the national park its all closed off now. The rest of it in town is all concrete now

Thanks for the well wishes. I've kind of put her up on a pedestal so I'm hoping the smoke is as good as I remember.

The town was wide open. We would ride dirt bikes from the airport to the wash where it cuts through Frenchman Mt only crossing a paved road a few times. It was all lava rock from Vo tech to the south where green valley is. That was miles and miles of big black sharp lava rock from Railroad pass to the I-15. Only road through there was the railroad and a few dirt roads.
But back there behind LVHS is where the best place to ride was. There was a trail cut through dense underbrush called the Ho Chi Min Trail. You had to almost lay your bike sideways to get through. One year we (Bonnie Bounders MC) held a 100 mile enduro that started about where LVHS is now. We had over two hundred entrants and it was designed to be a tough course. Mostly everyone ran a hare scrambles or hare and hound race which are very hard but enduros are suppose to be real tough and this was.
I was only 16 and my friend and I got stationed at the worse spot. Halfway through the HOchimin trail was a homemade wood bridge crossing a etn foot section of wash about two, three feet deep. It worked great for the first hundred or so but then it got wet, slick and muddy and bikes would get on it , give it gas nad slide right off into the mud and muck. I had to help them pull their bikes out.
From there the race continued through that cut I mentioned and skirted the lake all the way to the valley of fire and then back to the lake Mead pass

I will mention one more thing about that area and then I will stop the hijack. The school is almost right on top of the old dump. There was also a rock quarry just to the south where we use to have keggers and bands and hundreds of people. There was a motocross track there and a TT track. Noone rides TT anymore but it even big back then in the good old days. This is when Sahara and Rainbow was the boondocks and nothing but a few homes out there scattered here and there. The Mint 400 was a big event. It started and ended behind where the Fietsa is now in NLV. The racers would parade down fremont and ride their bikes and buggies from there to the race start.

It was a really cool town back then. Now its a hellhole. I was blessed to get out when I did
