Where I am at is a deep red county historically. Prop 19 didn't pass in this county.Yup, I agree
BTW Ernst- I don't live in Cali (or a medical state for that matter...but the black market of course, is strong here)
Could you list some of the regulations (taxes) behind the medical pot market where you are? I'd be curious to hear the whole scoop...to find out what one must pay out of pocket in "overhead costs" before any actual investment is made toward growing the crop
We are not allowed to have dispensaries here. I cannot tell you about taxes with my experiences.
There is the Rancho Cordova example as the most egregious taxation. I will just approximate since I don't have the info on hand at the moment. I believe they tax medical gardens on a square foot basis and I think it's something like $90 a sqft or something like that. If I remember right they want $13,000 a year for a 5x5 garden or some thing like that. I believe it's Measure O http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=2&ved=0CB0QFjAB&url=http://www.elections.saccounty.net/coswcms/groups/public/@wcm/@pub/@vre/documents/webcontent/sac_025029.pdf&rct=j&q=measure o ranco cordova&ei=eO9zTaXhLImasAPhs8HNCw&usg=AFQjCNGD44lBhI_LLA-OwWaONY-4YGcGQg&sig2=vinftt2yvhlfqL5YccwxMg&cad=rja
