Hey CD - You have been an inspiration to me - I just put together an extra-large U-Haul box for a clone based on yours so thanks for the great idea! Never cloned before so had a question. How much ventilation did you have for those humidity domes you used? Were there holes in them or was it completely sealed to the pot?
Also, you mentioned Hyponix soil at the beginning of your grow. Did you ever use it at all? I was looking for a soil that didn't have nutes in it and thought it looked like it might work. Very impressive grow!

The Jiffy Seed Starter soil has no nutes and works pretty well can get at lowes, figured I'd throw that option out there..

wow, thanks matrix, yes i did use it and its pretty good soil. its just a real good black potting soil and its pretty cheap. i think it works good for starting clones. my veg box has a big passive intake and 2 80mm fans for exhaust, the dome does have small holes all the way around it, you want just a light steady flow, mainly for fresh air.
monk, ive never used that, i saw it at walmart, but from what i could see, it almost looks like dust or powder. im sure its good stuff to, just never have tried it.
its day 69 for grassy, getting ready to try and pill her down a litte more and add a couple more stakes. everything is looking real good with her though. gave her the weekly dose of molasses just now.

looking stellar as usual!! how is the clone doing? another thing i wanted to ask you, do you remember what dept. in walmart you found the trueair? i looked all over the other day and couldn't find it... i'm thinking we don't have em up here. I checked in the pet dept. the isle where all the glade plug in and other air fresheners are. I'm gonna get some moth balls. my friend uses them and i never smell his grow. or the moth balls for that matter. he told me to use them in moderation.

So i got part 1 of 2 of my things i ordered the other day. 4lb bag of Happy Frog bat shit. and a pound of water-soluble earthworm castings. I've got my beefy screen too, ready and rearing to go. Just nee to gather up some e-scratch to get my barneys farm LSD and pineapple chunk. Then i'm ready to do this shizz.

yeah CD I actually used that stuff to start my grow, also used the Jiffy Pots then just planted them into a 1gal pot with FFOF. The pots breakdown and roots just grow through it, stuff my pops had layin around so instead of spendin extra cash I just used that shit... Worked well though as you could see

I just go to the pet store and pick up activated carbon and make my own filter its only lke 5$ for enough to make a decent filter and i can try to smell the air comeing out and theres no pot smell at all i'd say it will last about 6 months but i made mine a double so hopefully it lasts about a year

thanks bro!! its still green so thats good, it will be cool if this thing makes it. it was back behind the paint dept. where the water filters and fans and stuff like that, they have like 5 different models to chose from. cool idea on the moth balls too.
LoL. thanks sss, this last grow has been great, like i said, a 1/4 pound in a cardboard box, just unreal, LoL. hell yeah bro, good luck with it!! i use the bat shit and worm casting in the powder form and just sprinkle it on top right before i water once a week on a plain water day, it doesnt mix that well in a jug so i figured thats the best way.
heres a pic of the new little one, not much to look at yet, but she'll get there and pics of the last harvest one more time.
oh, no doubt monk, it sure did, LoL. i used the jiffy peat pellets but the mesh doesnt dissolve that great, thats when i decided to just try putting them straight into the soil, which has worked well also.
the problem with that Wv is with these cardboard boxes, i have like 5 small exhaust fans so i need something that sit outside my box to fix the air. thats why i tried the true air. thats what i was trying to think of hippy, thanks, LoL.

i use schultz take root rooting powder, shit has worked on every clone ive done. they have it at walmart for like $6. heres the pics i did for the clones from molly. sorry, they didnt stay in order but they are number in the name. and i gave blade a haircut, it really opened up some space in there. still working on the stakes and bending.
thanks mil, like i said, a 1/4 pound off 2 plants. thats the main cola from the rocklock.

great stuff cd! grassy is really filling out all the empty space in the box, very nice! and good demo pics for rooting those seedlings!! not to mention those drying buds look SICK!
as for the trueair, if you can't find it at wally world, they also have them at targeet for $15, also in the aisle with with the hepa filters / air purifiers. i'm using 2 true airs as exhaust vents (the only exhaust vents), and it is completely eliminating the pot smell. unbelievably effective.
wvmade... tell us more about your home made filter? what strength/cfm fan are you using with it? i tried making one with a car cotton air filter and a 188 cfm booster fan and some activated carbon but it didn't work... needed a stronger fan. thanks!

plants looks great CD, but it looks like kudzu is infesting your box, good thing it is cannabis cudzu 
rubber bands work real well to bend, because they will slowly pull on the branch so you dont have to sit there and be so careful 
hey Wv, I have had great success with perlite/vermiculite 60/40 mix, with (about 9 days) or without (about 12 days) powder or gel. But you should be able to do it in soil too with no problems, again with or without powder or gel. I had bad luck with dirt!
