Great Post! I use the same method.

Once you have the moisture level perfect for curing long term, still check them from time to time to ward off mold and powder mildew.

Thanks for pointing that out DM. I definitely forgot to mention that very important part of the process.

Dropastone.... you should continue to keep the NL#5 going when you add another strain, at least until you can replace with something better. I still have my 1st strain going (MK-Ultra - 2 years now), because it is incredible!

You know, I probably will for a while but the problem is limited space. But I'll definitely keep the NL going till the next strain is producing buds. When I do stop growing the NL5 all together, I still have 5 seeds left to fall back on if I want to bring her back around. The next strain on my list is the hash plant, pure Indica.

:hump: Good Luck +rep when I can again...

Okay here's my clones I took 5 weeks into flower. It took quite sometime for them to reveg but I'm back on track. They started to really take off a cpl of weeks ago so I'm figuring they're about week 2 into veg right now. I'm planning on vegin em another 3 to 4 weeks before the flip. You'll notice a third clone that is not doing so hot and she just refuses to grow. I'm still gonna keep her in hopes that she'll snap out of it by the time I flip. If not I'll just put her with my next round of clones that will be taken in the 2nd week of 12-12 and those clones will be properly veged for round 3.

Peace.

looking good. i like your setup allot. i think i may have to set my closet up like yours, with the box fan under the plants. you think furring strips would hold 6 water farms?

Hmmm it should. Just make sure you have a cpl of braces for support in the center. On mine I just put a 1X4 on each side of my closet for the desired height and ran the 1X2 strips across the two 1X4's. It's a little springy in the center but works for me. I've thought about running some 1X2's in the center for more support but right now I just don't need it.

quick note for ya.

When using air pots, you want the top portion of the pot to have the CLOSE OFF holes. Trust me...when i first got my pots i didnt pay attention to where the holes were, and if the closed off holes were on the bottom, you have a BITCH of a time watering as it all just runs off the sides. Im sure you see this happening ;)

Yeah it does happen from time to time but I've learned to water em more slowly so it doesn't leak. The instructions state to keep the closed holes at the bottom for the tray. But since you mentioned it I'll put em at the top when I transplant them into larger pots and we'll see what happens.

Thanks for the tip.

Peace.

i was thinking about putting 2x4 across the wall then make a drop in frame with 1x3 with boards vertical. that way the whole shelf is easily removed in 1 piece. you like the air pots better then regular pots?

Sounds like that should work out just fine.

I've never used regular pots before so I couldn't give you a comparison. I'm a bit of a new tech junkie and I like to try new things that are outside the norm.

I've learned everything I know about air pots from reading this forum and from doing my own research on them. The science behind it seems sound enough to me and s
o far I like em and I can't complain.

Anything that adds more more root mass to absorb water and nutrients sounds good to me.
I've added a video that explains how they work.

Just a little update on the clones, not much to see but there getting bigger. The third clone I think I'm just gonna give up on her. She's just turning yellow and hasn't grown a bit since I put her in soil. I transplanted em about a week ago into 2.5 gallon pots and now their growing like crazy.

I just bought a new 600 watt air cooled hood today and I can't wait to see what kind of results I get with it. I can already tell a big difference in the light output so I hope I'm gonna see more bud output as well. I'll let em veg for another week under the 600 and then flip em. I'm sure it's gonna heat up a bit more in there but I'm hoping it's not much. I'll know in a couple of hours though.

Here's some new pics for ya guys.

Yeah they are a bit pricey, but from what I can tell so far there doing a great job. I like how it forces the roots to grow throughout the whole pot. It also makes it easier for the roots to seek out and use more of the nutes. I forgot to take pictures of the root development again when I transplanted em into bigger pots. Ahhh another stoner moment I'll never get back. Hmmm maybe next time.

looking good man. how long till you go to 12/12?
A little over a week on the 24th, maybe sooner. It all depends on what kind of growth I see with this new light. That will put me at the end of march for the next harvest. Just a cpl of weeks past my birthday. I'm gonna take five clones in the second week of flowering, 4 for me and one for a friend. Next grow I'll be doing 4 of em for sure.

I here ya, every time I think I'm done buying shit, I always find myself buying more.
I hear ya, I can't even walk thru a Lowes/Home Depot w/o checking their CFLs, pvc fittings, ect...

Like those root air pods, might get me a few. I have a few Red Dragon feminized seeds, 10 regular Bubbledelicious seeds. If I'm successful on germination w/those seeds, I'm going to throw them in w/my clones from the Blue Widow and Columbian Gold clones. I plan to have 1 growbox w/air-pods, other 2 growbox just standard 3" net pods....:leaf:

The ladies are in their sixth week of veg and I'll be flipping em on Sunday. I had a slight nitrogen deficiency and had to bump up the nutes this week due to a little yellowing of some of the older fan leaves. Other than that everything is going smooth. The new 600 is performing well and I can really tell a big difference with the added light. As far as temps go, it's been around 78 to 84 degrees. I'm still abserving the temps everyday but so far It's been around a 4 degree difference between the 400 and the 600. It'll be interesting to see what the temps are gonna be like this summer.
