first off awesome thread, don't know how i missed it in dadio's before. def subbed in now though.

as for the camera two words nikon coolpix. it was by far one of the best investments i ever made. i used to have a few different ones that were mid grade but finally stepped it up last christmas. i have the coolpix p80 and it is a beast, it takes amazing shots and it's not overly complicated. it's the perfect camera for someone who wants badass pix without having to be a great photographer. i spent a while researching camera before i landed on this one i would def recomend it. the main reason i got mine was for our animals, we have a dobie, a choc lab, and two crazy ass cats, and we take a ton of pix of them and was tired of grainy shots w red eyes. sorry to rant on about a camera but it's this first time i could actually give any advice on the site. http://www.nikonusa.com/Nikon-Products/Product-Archive/Compact-Digital-Cameras/26114/COOLPIX-P80.html

btw congrats on the pup, i love mastiff's, how big is your full grown?

Thanks for the heads up on the camera info. I'm no expert when it comes to using them either, So that's basically what I"m looking for, something that's not to complicated and not to expensive.

About my dog, I haven't weighed him in a long time. The last time I did he was 150 lbs about a year ago but I'll bet he's at least 170 to 175 now. Weather permitting I'm picking up my new pup on Tuesday. We got to drive over a hundred miles to get her so if the weather is bad we'll have to postpone it until it clears up.

Thanks for stopping by.

Just got done trimming the one plant. I had more pics but like I said my camera sucks and I had to trash the close ups. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

Peace.

What's with the Dr pepper can? are you needing more humidity in your dry area?

You did a nice trim job on the plant!

Nah man it's just for reference lol. I just wanted to show how big that cola was. It was pretty heavy and it might be an ounce dry.If the other two each produce about the same I'll be a happy man.

Thanks for the comments guy's

so whats your dry weight guess? did you take a wet weight?
Nah, I usually don't take a wet weight. I figure that plant will give around 1.5 oz dry. I'd be happy if I got 3-4 oz out of all three. Those plants were kinda rushed the whole way. They went from seed to flower in 36 days. They spent 36 days under t5's flowering because I was waiting on another plant to finish under the 400. Then I moved them into my flower room under the 400 watt for 34 days (so far). All just to make it in time for Christmas.

Next time they're gonna veg a little longer and they'll be flowering under the 400 watt the whole way through. So next time I'm hoping for a bigger yield. Right now, I can't be any happier with these results.

Alright, here is the last shots before chop chop later tonight. I'll be busy trimming me bud on Christmas Eve. There aint nothing better than trimming your bud on the night before Christmas, unless your smoking it, which I will be hehehe. The first one is still curing but it's hell of a buzz. I haven't weighed it yet but I'd guess it was a little over and ounce. I'm thinking I will definitely get at least 3 oz when all said and done. I also threw in a pic of my new puppy. I just brought her home the evening of the 22nd. She's a full blooded English Mastiff and she's an Apricot brindle.

Merry Christmas everybody, have a safe and happy holiday.

Alright, I couldn't leave you guys hangin. I weighed the one plant and it came out to be 35g. This is after I smoked at least an 1/8 of it. It should dry up a little more so I'm figuring at the least 3oz for all three plants dry. I'll post a final weight when it's all said and done.

More pics to come.

Enjoy.

Ohhh I don't know. I never grew more than a 6 oz out of my little closet at one time. So I guess if I get a little over 3 oz off of this it would only be around a 1/4 gram per watt. I've come close to a 1/2 gram per watt in the past. I don't think I could ever grow a LB using a 400watt in my little 3X3 closet because that's what it would take to reach a gram per watt. I'm by far no expert when it comes to indoor growing and I still got lots to learn, but it's fun learning. I'll get there one day.

Ya 400's is hard to get a great yield we had 8 or 9 plants under 2 400s and only got somewhere around 200g or something but that was a first grow, my buddy is now using those same 2 400s in his 3x4ish closet and has 8 ak-48s so we'll see what he gets this time. 400s just dont have the penetration 6's and 1k's have, Looks like you got a good tasty harvest though! Whats the strains/plans for next round? Maybe look and an ebb & flow tray or something, that i bet would knock your GPW up quiet a bit. My next round will be hydro of some kind they're amazing!

Yeah I've already been on line looking for a 600 watt ballast but I don't see that happening for at least a month or two. I've been considering an ebb flow table too for the last cpl of months, but it's gonna use more water than I care to produce at the moment. So for now I'm just sticking with this strain for the next cpl of rounds and see if I can double my yield. Next time I go back to hydro, it'll be one plant in a 5 gal dwc and I'll try to grow it out under a 600. I'm pretty sure my 530 cfm inline will be able to handle the heat from that just fine.

I'll get there some day.
