No not really, it would depend on how much money you are willing to spend. IMO a distiller works just as good as an RO setup. But the RO would probably be a better choice, just for the overall ease of using it. With an RO you just hook it up and let it do it's thing. When you make water with a distiller you have to stay on top to things and get another gallon going after the first gallon has finished. If you forget about it or you go to sleep while it needs changed you could be wasting valuable time if you really need the water.

I was gonna go with an RO but my water pump doesn't have enough pressure to properly operate one. When I was looking into them they all needed at least 45 psi from your water pump to properly operate one and mine has only 35 psi. So at the time I was kinda strapped for cash and just decided to go with the distiller instead of investing in a pressure booster for my pump and then haveing to buy the RO on top of that.

Another good thing about a distiller is you don't have the replace any filters when they get dirty like you do with an RO system.

I hope that helps you out some.
i dont think i have 45psi water either so i guess i'll have to look into a water distiller

Im a huge fan, especially considering the bulb was made for digital ballists by the guy who made the first digital ballist. Ive also heard that they last much longer and hold better lumen output over multiple grows than HPS. Definitely wont be switching back anytime soon!
Right on brah, If you got a grow thread let me know. I'd like to check it out.

Today is 68 days in and I'm patiently waiting for them to ripen. Somehow I got a broken branch at the bottom of one of my plants. Probably happened when I took her out of the room to take trichome pics. I just noticed it this morning. Oh well I guess it's gonna be a sampler. Should be ready to smoke on Sunday. I'll be sure to give a smoke report.

Here's more pics.

There's some milky in there. The top colas are showing more milky/amber but not so much in the bottom branches as pictured above. Ehh the branch wasn't that big but big enough for a tester.

After Christmas I'm definitely getting a new camera. It's too much work to get a good shot with the one I have now. I usually have to take 20 shots just to get 5 good pics of me bud.

Yeah I'm looking at a few different ones that are 10 and 12 mp but I don't wanna do anything until after Christmas because I never know what Santa may put in my stocking this year lol. Knowing my luck it'll be a lump of coal. Does yours have blur reduction or image stabilization?

yea mine has blur reduction but i use my camera on close up for the best pix. a stand would help me out alot for my camera. seeing how i seem to shake here and there and the doctors dont know why i do.

Dont go by straight MP that race was over along time ago. I have a 7MP that is just as good as some 12 MP ive seen. Its all about what settings it has, Over the years ive been very impressed with Canon's Point and shoot and nikons have been one of my Favs. Good luck make sure you test how good it takes macro shoots before ya buy, thats the main thing to look for when gettin a camera for buds

Well I woke up this morning and my tester was dry enough to smoke. I cut up the popcorn at the bottom and put is my trusty pipe and went at it. That was at 10 O clock this morning and I'm still feeling the effects even after a nap. It's very potent with a lite fruity smell and taste. That's the only way I can describe it. I'm sure the smell and taste will get better when it's properly cured.

The thing is, the sampler plant is tall and narrow compared to the other two that are short and bushy, and it seems to have matured faster. I'm guessing that has something to do with the phenotype. So I'm gonna chop the taller one tonight @ day 70 right before the lights come on and let the other two short and bushy ones go a little longer but no longer than another week.

All said and done I'm very pleased with the results. I'll post pictures of me buds when I get her trimmed up and hanging on strings.

Peace.
