I just want to add something here. The line to the light can handle 1500 watts minimum BUT the light fixture CANNOT. Modern fixtures have a stiker on the socket that will tell you the max watts per socket (usually 60 watts)The minimum is 1500 watts (you might have a 20 amp breaker and could go over 2000 watts)
I'm assuming you got 23 watt bulbs so you could put about 50 of them in there.
That seems odd, considering most every light fixture and lamp in my house has 100 w bulbs in it. Hell, I have an outlet adapter screwed into a light socket right now, running a 42 watter, 4 23 watters, and a fan on two power strips, and the outlet adapter has a 100 watt incandescent screwed into it....so I dont think your max would be 60 watts. Oh, and that chart doesn't show compact fluorescent's, which is what he's using.I just want to add something here. The line to the light can handle 1500 watts minimum BUT the light fixture CANNOT. You've described the non soft whites as "Bright White" if that's what they're labeled they aren't a good grow light you want "Daylight" or 6500 K. Bright White are 3500 K.
You could use the 6500 K all the way but since you've got soft white use them when you start flowering, they stimulate blooming but as you can see in the chart the 6500 K are the powerhouse bulbs. I have a friend in Chicago who did a grow with 75 % 6500 K (T5HO tubes) beautiful stubby plants wish I would have saved a picture of them.If you guys have any input on daylight only. I could really use that. I can't find anything.
Thumbs up from me on the soil and turkey pan reflectors. There's a guide somewhere here using beer cans split open for reflectors, maybe a lurker will know where it is.Yeah, I have a little foil in there, I didn't mention it to keep some trolls out. I might use a turkey baking pan or w/e the fuck. and might add more reflectors. I was thinking about laying some down on the dirt to prevent the dirt from stealing on the shine. and no temperature comments. I'm aware and the last thing I'm worried about is heat or magnifying. I haven't been able to use my fan because it's so cold.
O rly? wasting 3-4 months on these pathetic little sprouts instead of listening and using good info?I work smart instead of working hard and dumb. that's actually a body building quote also. e
I've seen more pathetic plants than mine that I couldn't count on 2 hands on these forums, you're doing it wrongO rly? wasting 3-4 months on these pathetic little sprouts instead of listening and using good info?
