sign me up. I down for research.
Gotta say that I dont buy that, when I was smoking weed grown outdoors with water and nothing else it still had what i always thought was tar on the filter. Nutrients used by local African growers....unheard of!!when you get all that back tarry lookin crapo at end of a dood. thats nutes. needs to burn clean and no build up at end. plus cleaner looking grey smoke not dark. effects taste to me. some wont brun worth a crap as well.
quick question, why did you try to establish phenotype on an autoflower? isn't one of the chief drawbacks/ advantages (depending on who you are and how you look at it) is that there is no use to cloning then as they flower when they want to? i mean you can hold a queen mother as long as you want in 12:12, it's still gonna flower when it will, and as such will be impossible to identify which pheno was awesome as you've already smoked it??? just trying to figure out the rationale there, not trying to pick a fight... respect...PS. Royal Queen seeds is what I meant...it was a new auto they put out with very mixed results so back to the drawing boards...I got a whole heap of them so just did a few to try to establish phenotype...
Don't worry....I am not one of the type of guys that gets my back up against the wall. I was given a bag full of these seeds by someone I met recently who sells seeds online. The deal was to grow them out and tell him what sort of differences there were regards to pheno and characteristics. This stemmed from many seed dealers buying seeds from Royal Queen that had dubious genetics. A lot, I mean a lot of people had complained. I am no expert on phenos etc. I just saw free seeds and weed. All I can tell you now is that out of 50 seeds germinated..only 20 came up, a terrible ratio to start with. The yield is supposed to be around 250-350gm per sq. meter.....I think I'll get about 80gm per sq. meter if i'm lucky. As for pheno, I was told by my friend to look for plant structure and smell etc. which I report back to him, there are 3 distinct phenos to my untrained eye. I'm no expert in that field.quick question, why did you try to establish phenotype on an autoflower? isn't one of the chief drawbacks/ advantages (depending on who you are and how you look at it) is that there is no use to cloning then as they flower when they want to? i mean you can hold a queen mother as long as you want in 12:12, it's still gonna flower when it will, and as such will be impossible to identify which pheno was awesome as you've already smoked it??? just trying to figure out the rationale there, not trying to pick a fight... respect...
Seems to me that only you can answer that question, every dialled in grow has it's optimum output and only you will know it best. Therefore it makes it difficult for anyone to assume, good luck though.bumpity bump
Yeah... I was just looking for anyones ideas and feedback possibly from empirical evidence...Seems to me that only you can answer that question, every dialled in grow has it's optimum output and only you will know it best. Therefore it makes it difficult for anyone to assume, good luck though.
The space those 6 would take would put me at a harvest every 25 days instead of every 16....well many people are running away from many many small plants to fewer large ones... how about 6 plants w/ 1 oz per 16 days? throw them back into 6" pots run the month veg and bada bing...
I've come across a lot more single cola grows people are doing and it seems like they're having great results. The canopy is nice and even so lighting and space work out well and you can jam a lot more plants into the same sq ft.The space those 6 would take would put me at a harvest every 25 days instead of every 16....
