I'm in.

I am going to be testing a bunch of autoflower strains and techniques one plant (maybe two) at a time.

My ideas are:
Utilizing mixed spectrums of light through veg and flower (CFL 6500k/2700k).
Just using slow release fertilizer.
Creating seeds out of autoflowers.

What do you think?

hey, i think if your planing on using autos for some testing a good one might be 24/0 vs. 18/6 for the duration to see any possible negative effects of no dark period on root and general growth?

I don't plan on using 18/6 for autos ever. I planned on using a 20/4 schedule when my first auto's go into veg.

However, trying a full on 24/0 is more my style. I just might do that with this grow.

I am currently doing an auto grow of 20x easy buds from queen of seeds. They had 20/4 for 3 weeks now 12/12 as I have master kush in the same flower room which I want to flower off too. They dont seem to be doing so bad with less hours...I'll add photos later.

no I can't say I have, but sounds powerful enough.

this is great though, this is what we really need, independent research into cultivation, I need to find some of my old lab equipment..

i may be able to help with stuff. i work with Dr Hornby and a nute co so have valuable info to share
also to the dood running autos...auto need more light, not 12/12. more light more growth and bud less is less in the auto family. our best test results came at 20 on and 4 off. .....strain dependant

yea i was planing on doing 24/0 but joint doctor recommended 18/6 on their website idno tho it does seem strange that they'd say more isnt better would be good to see some side by side testing

It's actually a link to my grow, it's not that obviously stated though.

I am well aware of that but as I clearly stated I have 10 master kush flowering currently too so I cant change things right now, I can see that they would prefer more light but they are frankly not a great strain from queen of seeds. I have to make decisions for the whole flower room not just some autos I got as freebees. Thanks none the less.

Now that would be a waste, I have the space, time, nutes etc. and they will tide me over till better things mature.....I am planning a perpetual garden with all new equipment etc.....exciting times ahead!!!
