if you're against it, just stay home and don't vote.
Where do you get your facts? This stuff simply is not true. Right now pot smokers in Cali are not committing a felony.no on 19 keeps 80% of the herb smokers in cali felons waiting to be caught...
how is that good?
yes on 19 changes nothing for anyone who is already able to use and grow under 215.
ive read the law more than once.
im voting yes.
dennis peron wrote 215 and you call him an idiot?the bill goes to great lengths to promise no changes to 215 patients and growers. I read it.
I already posted acknowledgement to the fact that I misspoke by saying felons, should have said criminals.
The "No on 19" stoner crowd are either making a living on the black market selling herb, or dumb enough to buy into our own brand of stoner propaganda scare tactics being spawned by complete fucking idiots like Dennis Peron and Dragonfly De la luz.
what effects are you seeking when you smoke pot?dennis peron is coming out and saying that there is no such thing as recreational use, all use is medical, and as a result we need no other legalization laws.
enough said?
possible he's protecting his little medical marijuana hotel business.
If herb were legal, med patients wouldn't need to go to his hotel. He'd probably stand to lose money if 19 passed.
wonder why he's against it?
registered where? Most people actually do not want to get there med card in order to use recreationaly. Why have to lie and be registered in order to smoke weed legally.
Only state ID cards require a registration, and they have not come for me yet. Maybe by register he means "go on paper as a medical Cannabis patient"... possibly just poor word choice?registered where?
what effects are you seeking when you smoke pot?
he could be on to something.
there is no need for 19. anyone can easily get a card and grow as much as they want.
The impact of the vote in California reaches far beyond California. If it passes, it will likely set a positive chain reaction in other states. I hate to think of what will happen if it fails. I really do.
I've seen times years ago when many thought it was going to become legal and then the REAGAN / BUSH "just say no" back slide happened. I'm not sure that shit will happen again, but frankly it concerns me. What's to prevent it?
I don't like "legal and tax". However I'd vote yes because I believe this bill if it passes will be the defining moment to eventually end prohibition every where. I ask California voters to VOTE YES, the rest of us are watching and hoping. Remember in the rest of the country, people still go to jail for small amounts and certainly for growing. There are people in NH trying to get it done and they still send people to jail there. Trust me, I know.
Yes go on record, but that record no matter how much you feel is safe...Isn't. You are part of a registery type program. Hospitals/Schools/Ect have social security and personal info leaked all the time. Sept 27 2010, NYC hospital apologized for the leaking of 6,800 patients personal information including some social security numbers onto the internet. There are no "lies". Stuff happens that is out of our control. Never know how safe your information and privacy really is. Thats what alot of people worry about. Why put more information out then is needed.
Oh yes there is a need for a new law. LEGAL MMJ patients are being put in jail right now, I guess you just won't admit it. Prop 19 will help to stop the pigs who are harassing us. If you were put in jail, or simply had your plants taken, you would vote yes.
Thanks for that, Rob. You actually understand the macro viewpoint, and can see the whole picture. Just like the head of NORML says, and it's so important that I put his quote in my sig.
