pretty sure that is what 19 does... make it so we can legally buy, carry, consume (restriction due apply as the saying goes), and not pretend like it is medicine.
If you want weed you can allready get it in cali if you tell a doctor you are unhappy that you can't get weed they will give you a rec and tell you to see if that makes you happier then you can legaly have weed-but it is still illegal under fedral law just the same as it would be under 19- marijuana is medicine
ideally, that would be true, IN REALITY I personally got denied for a rec, ME, and i'm sick in the head and body, still got denied. And i'm an OU instructor and I worked in a dispensary. Getting a rec isn't just something anyone can do. it costs money, you have to have medical records (i haven't seen a doctor in a decade so im not sick according to them)
Thank you!!!!!! Fdd2 and Beardo both advocate that just anyone can get a card, so 19 isn't needed. I tried to explain the abuse taking place under 215 and Fdd2 denies there is ANY abuse under 215. I knew I wasn't the only one that liked to consider weed my recreational drug. Sure it is meds to some, to me, it just makes me feel relaxed and happy. I didn't know I needed a prescrition for that....
If you end up living in Cali try talking to a doctor and saying exactly what I condenced your quote to -or something similar that you are comfortable with- I bet you get a rec. No you shouldn't need one-yes marijuana is medicine even if the term is applied losely like with what you said- i'm no doc but if it makes you feel relaxed and happy i would consider that theriputic and i'm sure some doctors would feel the same way. A rec can be had for 50$ or more or less depending on where you are and what your situation is-i have heard talk of tax of 50$ an OZ if 19 passes but whatever it is i'm sure a regular user will pay more in tax over the cource of a year than the cost of a rec, I'm all for legalization but not for 19
