you can go all the way up to about 5.5 weeks with no nutes in FFOF..

The method I use to germ is kinda a combo of all three methods...a lil more work I guess, but I have 100% germ...
1. I soak for 12-24hrs<till they all drop...
2. Place seeds on moist paper towel, then fold twice & put in zip lock baggie till tap root shows.<2 dayz avg...
3. Put seeds in jiffy pellets that are soaked in distilled water with Advance Nutrients No Shock,{1/4tsp per qt} place jiffy pellets in humidity dome w/heating mat, seeds sprout in 24-36hrs with no light on em'...
4. On to starter pots and blue light<20,000 lumens
So that's like 3 1/2 dayz avg....

they just sank in the water... They weren't cracked or anything... I thought someone said they could finish germinating right in the soil.how big was the root off the seed when you planted it? mine usually take 2 days and thats only after the seed cracks with a tiny ass tail

I mean... In retrospect, I wouldn't have minded; 1 pack reg/ 1 pack fem of each as opposed to 2 packs reg of each.
and I'll never buy mixed seeds again... I hate not knowing what these "short mix" seeds are....
supposedly it could be any of their current strains, plus some unreleased expe&rimental seeds or some BS like that.

you should really start them in sumin smaller than a 1gal pot (i prefer red beer pong cups). i always wondered why some people started them in such a large pots. i learned startin in sumin smaller helps the roots grow larger & stronger and theres less surface area to steal much needed light. plus transplatting is not as hard as one would think. some people say dont start the light cycle until they sprout, but once i plant the germinated seed i start my 24/0 cycle for 2wks then goto 18/6 good luck bro count me subbed

Yeah, breeders and most Auto growers do say that, BUT what they dont say is: "THIS RULE APPLIES TO FEM SEEDS ONLY"! because you will be waisting a LOT of SOIL and SPACE in 2 or 3gal pots on the males if your starting "a Lot Of Reg. Seeds"<which you have to do with autos to get a good female to male ratio...That my friend is why people transplant autos in the first place....Just get some of Advance Nutrients "No Shock" and use it from day 1 up until transplanting...One Love...

Well, yeah! if you consider saving space & money on expensive azz soil, betta results....I'm assuming when u say;"I plant it leave it boom done" your using FEM SEEDS???ok.. so will i get better results this way? cus i plant it and leave it boom done, i like things simple
well my current sprout is already in its final spot but its a regular seed but ya i see what ur sayin.. shit my last 2 fems yielded just short of an oz. i need to get over an oz. now
do u think it effects yields or just saves dirt lol cus i only do 1 or 2 at a time so thats not a huge concern at this point
