hi in hunter valley... i have some plants in that are 5 weeks old and about 7cms high... most have 6+ leaves - they are in pots indoors with a tropical fluro light ( which is for aquarium plants photosynthesis) but they are all developing brown edges on the leaves. I spray with a spray bottle several times a day - both leaves and soil. Ive done 1 bottle with "max feed" mixed in the water and now spraying with just water. I have re-potted to a larger pot tonight ( they were in starter tubes)... Some of the smaller plants also have at least 1 leaf that's curling up... Can anyone help?? I don't know whats wrong with them ( this is only my 2nd time growing and first lot were out doors all times and took 8 months to grow so thought try inside with light 24 hours a day which seems faster)... the room has a fan going and an external exhaust fan.. Room open for about 12 hours a day for fresh air... please help if you can...
 
Hey mate if your grow looks like how I imagine then you have a number of major changes required. Do you have any pics? What soil are they in? How powerful is the light? What strain are you growing? How do you plan to flower? Oh there are so many questions!

You need to go a read/watch some basic grow tutorials and have a good look at the newbie section which contains plenty of FAQ and advice. Don't worry, I've been in your situation, your grow can still be rescued!

Cliff notes; you need a good HID light (400W minimum), a good sealed reflective space with vents and fans large enough for how ever many plants you want. You shouldn't need to foliar feed in week 5, and you don't need to water the soil with a spray bottle.

Knickers i never got to the bottom of whether you are male or female so i dont know how to take that comment. Personally i would find it a little weird smoking through a cock bong. If thats all that was going then sadly i would do it. I may lose rep points for that last sentence.

Ok just reread Knickers comment. I think there may be an underlying message. Again still a little confused.
 
Lol rock you're thinking too much. I swear I've explained this before.. There were 3 dudes (me included rock..) living in a house and my mate and I bought the other mate a cock shaped bong for his birthday as a joke. When the other bong(s) were out of action or broken then we used the cock bong (and still do).

And rock.. There is no hidden meaning in that sentence ;)
 
Hi knickers, wish i could talk to you... lol i dont have any pics yet but will try to get some.. i've only joined this forum tonight so just learning how things work here...

They are in rich natural soil which is very dark brown now, they were in seed growing mix in the tubes.. The light is from the pet shop which i think is 15w but it has uva and uvb in it which they say is for tropical plants in aquarium.. I have no idea what strain i have as we were given some seeds and grew 2 outdoors which took 8 months. these are seeds are from those... i do have a 2 fluro light set that i was going to buy tubes for which say natural sunlight and another tropical tube which is 4 ft long... they both say for plants natural photosensis... im in hunter valley nsw, where are you?
 
You guys say that now. Dont get me wrong i dont like cocks other than my own but i do love some good weed. Check out this mad scientists contraption.

welcome blackcat, you should look at ordering a 400watt hps light on ebay. they go for as little as $180 delivered. they do give off a bit of heat, but in the hunter it gets quite cold so battling the heat should be easyish for you. i know a guy that gets 10 ounces off 1 plant using 1 400 watter. food for thought.

grow tents are awesome too.

thanks for the welcome - im not after huge amounts just enough for personal use... I don't have $180 spare atm.. maybe something i can save up for... i don't need a tent as im using my laundry, which is sep to the house... it has an exhaust fan in it and i put a little fan in just for air movement. plus i need to worry about the power bill!
 
This is wat i ended up with from my hermie,93.38g,so thats like 3oz & sum change yeh? If only she hadnt gone hermie & i could've let her go as long as i wanted to 'sigh'. (the $20's just for reference)
