Grow Journal: my first grow with 600w MH/HPS

so i know i havent updated in awhile but ive been dealing with wedding stuff for a while for a friend. haha anyways. i put some co2 in the room and they have taken off. so i am rigging up a co2 system for me about 5 bucks. tank system and all. but if you had to get all the supplies would be about 30-40 bucks total.

when i make it ill post pictures and a DIY. its a setup for cabs. small and easy. wouldnt work for anything bigger than a 4x4 room. so once i get this co2 system in there they should shoot up. i dont have a strong intake in the cab so i think i have so crazy co2 deprivation creating their lack in vigorous growth.

so here are some pics.

the first the are the bagseeds. 1 and 2 are the ones that are topped and are going to have 4 main colas. the third is supercropped. 4 and 5 are the SLH then 6 is the Kaya 47 then last is white widow who has some wicked old growth but normal new growth.

so i realized today that one of the girls has some serious zinc def mayb mag too. so i foliar fed her with a 3/4 solution of jacks classic that has zn in it and some epsom salt in it and gave it a good dousing. going to do that for the next few days and see if it improves

HOLY SHIT BALLS! What kinda soil? OUCH! That looks like outdoor shit. Tree Bark? I actually used something similar when I started. Think I got it at Bi-Mart...Next time Happy Frog or Sunshine or something maybe...Please...

They are growing though so screw it, huh?

ya the ones the bigger ones are in are in barky soil. already made that mistake but im going to transplant into 3 gallons for those. the others with the perlite on top go into 5 gallons with ocean forest and coco with fungi inoculants and such. then they will go into flowering. im going to use a 70% coco and a 30% mushroom compost humus and manure mix for the other for an aeroponic grow to see how i like that. but ya bark is a BAD thing

hey all here is a new update. topped all the little ones and the other bagseed ( the tall non topped bagseed). hopefully in about two weeks the little ones will be ready for flower. thats when they are going in anyways. haha. they will flower in a 76x76x76in tent. so they can get nice and big. may add a 400 half way into flowering. get a little extra yield at the end. an extra few zips would be nice haha.

hey all. just got the new grow tent in today and got it all set up. stays around 82-84.

hey everyone. so i just transplanted them all into 5 gallon with 50% FFOF 40% COCO and 10% more earthworm castings. i added a little more fast acting lime, and 3/4 a cup of epsom salts per 5 gallon container. then added endo and ecto MYCO fungi with 3 cups of more perlite.

they are looking good. oh and one of the bag seeds has pistils all over, so im seeing some preflowers. they all, except for maybe one, go into flowering next week. that makes 5 out of 7 females so far

so i just checked on the girls and the 3 bagseed have sprouted pistils everywhere, so they are all 3 female. if all goes well, and i dont have any hermies, ill be flowering 7 beauty's starting off with a 600. and finishing off with the 600 and an added 1000w hps. the 1000w will go in the end part of may. so they will have a total of 5 weeks flower with 1600w of hps. im hoping for 2.5 lbs total dry off the 1600w. that just a little over a half gram a watt. im thinking it is doable. any takers?
