I don't have a lot of friends these days I burned those bridges long ago, but back in the day I woulda done anything for my homies because that's what they are for. He has his license though so we both win and i wouldn't have him buying weed from the dispensaries it's rediculous. A friend with weed is a friend indeed

The thing is I have a mother plant now and I got the clone of it now but the plant in flower is pretty unimpressive. It may be because the way I topped it and stunted it and that's why it was so small going into flower but it was the last one to show sex, and the pistils were very tiny and it's only budding at the top even though it's probably not even a foot tall the tops have buds but even the next node down have no buds whatsover and I'm sure they recieve decent light. Might just phase it out of the garden in the future. It was stinky as a seedling so i expected better from it. I also germed some more dope seeds and have some sprouts again I'm going to continue my other journal now.
Hey PD- I know what you mean. Just last week when it was still cold here (like 50) the closet temp was about 78. Now that it has warmed up outside (like 75) the closet is now HOT- it's jumped to 85 degrees the last time I checked

Your gonna need to get one sooner or later you would be surprised how hot it can actually get and you can't do ANYTHING at all w/out it because it's impossible to see what's helping and what's not. The position of the fans can change everything. Got mine for like 12 bucks and it measures two seperate spots so you can measure the air at the bulb and incoming air or w/e. If I didn't pick one up I would probably have some dead plants. I have grown crops in a closet that was 90 degrees almost always but not ideal. Plus i used to have one I figured it might turn up but never did. I'll find it when I don't need it.Yeah it sux ass I figured that with 30cfm exhaust fans in a 4 cubic foot box I would be more than good but it doesn't work that way I guess. It's not the lights but the ballasts that get really hot and it's jnot able to dissapait, add incoming air that's already 80 degrees and your SOL. The problem is that the rest of the house is open so the air is pretty much the same throughout the house but when I close the door the hot air gets trapped and the rest of the house is say 65 degrees and it's 72 degrees in the bedroom. Than the heater is heating the rest of the house to 70 and the hot air is just pumpin in to the smaller room. I try to cover up the vent but it's not really helping. All I can do is moniter it for now until I can come up with a better solution-ideally I would have a grow tent and than the whole room could be left open without worrying about light entering the flowering room. I just don't have 400$ to buy a tent and a good fan. I went in there last night before lights off and it was only 96 degrees FUCK! I wonder if fire will mess up the plant's flowering cycle? I just flicked my bic, saw the temps and stumbled through the darkness turned off some of the CFLs and rechecked temp dropped to 87 and I left. So yeah can only run a couple lights 3 at the most. I think a bigger CFL would help just gotta spend some more $. Any suggestions would be great! Maybe I need to get a big ass light and have the ballast outside of the box with the light on the inside. IDK I'll figure out something where there's a will there's a way right? If I could just move the box somewhere else it would help but really don't have a lot of free space in my little place. For my fans I have 3. On the first page you can see the exhaust fan I use and than I got the other 2 oscillating fans. The one I finally got hung upside down in the corner so that it blows the hot air from under the bulbs but the damn fan doesn't want to oscillate now just stays blowing towards the door. In all honety though I have been thinking that this is probably the best option anyway as it just blows air from the back of the closet towards the front and will still help get some of the 250's heat out still. Than the other fan I have kind of broinging in cooler air and blowing it to the back of the closet I still have some experimenting to do to see what works best been busy with the other box's temps tho.Hey PD- I know what you mean. I put in another fan, opened up a window in that room and I left the closet doors ajar... hopefully all of that can lower the temp- BUT shit, summer hasn't even started yet- so I am worried about how hot it will get.
I have 8 x 32w (aka 8x100w) CFLs plus my LED and for sure the CFLs are soooo much hotter than the LED. It sucks bro- I thought the CFLs would run cooler... oh well.
Hopefully you can get your heater problem fixed and that will help.
