if the earth was a company who thought it was going to crash and burn because of global warming it would gear up like we were to address the pending problem even though it was going to cost the company dearly

however once some data started coming in that they may have been wrong and there may not actually be impending doom coming

you can damn well be sure they would put those costly plans on hold until they can actaully get a firm grip on exactly what was going on before going ahead with thier costly plans.

IDK, CO2 forms approximately 0.04% of the nominal 5,000,000 +/- gigatonnes of gas and aerosols that comprise the Earth's atmosphere. Proponents of global warming say 3%-4% of CO2 in the atmosphere is manmade.

Doing the math .04%=.0004 and 4%=.04: . 0004 *.04 = 0.000016 or 1.6*10^-5.

SO mankind’s contribution to CO2 in the atmosphere is approximately ONE HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSANDS of our atmosphere.

Yea it's definitely all our fault!!! You mean that 0.000016 of earth’s atmosphere over the last 200 years just unbalanced the whole thing.

Also the consensus on the temprature increase is that the earth's temp has gone us somewhere between .75 and 1.25 degrees in the last hundred years. However we have only been keeping temp records for something like 160 years, so who can really tell us what the increase means.

This just in our galaxy is warming up. maybe this manmade global warming is really a manmade galaxy warming!!!!!!!!!! Wholly shit batman that ONE HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSANDS of our atmosphere just screwed our galaxy.

Might be easier to move on from that debate and simply make the case for more R&D on cleaner, sustainable energy sources in order to ween ourselves off foreign oil and pollute less (pollution has ane economic cost whether believe/deny MMCC). Let's forget the old debate and see where everyone stands on this new one.

I heard someone say today that the term climate change is now passe, like global warming. It is now global climate destabilization. Make of this what you will, I am just sharing
