First PC Grow Box

This is my design idea for my SWC set up for my box. Let me know what you think. The picture maybe small, but the bottom center thing with the two lines coming from it, is a pump. Just to clear up any confusion.

are you talkin bout one plant per can but 2 cans in a pc? i don't see why it wouldn't work. just gunna have to lst but thats the norms for a pc grow lol.....dang i'm one post from post #420. word haha

Yes two different plants, and two different containers. So they can grow by themselves. Without any stress from the roots of another plant..

Im also wondering if two plants (lowryders) will be to much in a cabinet like that.. Im doing exactly what your doing, well im GOING to soon.. just have to order some stuff..

Planning on growing two lowryders at a time in a pc case a similar size to yours, aslo going to go with scrog and dwc. Im thinking if it gets to crowded, ill just trough one out or give it to a friend.

Any strains you recommend for small grows like this, except for lowryders? Thinking of a low height, quick seed to harvest and an ok yield.

Honestly, Lowryder is your best bet. Unless you get something that is crossed with Lowryder. Like Lowlife Automatic AK47. It yields more than a normal LR, but has the soaring high of AK!!! It's a good one!! There is also some other Indicas that can be alright in such a small area. But Im not too sure which ones would be better than LR, if any.. They also have the LR crossed with White Widow!! I bet that's sick!! I'm considering trying it out!! Good luck on your grow, and stick around for a while!!

That sounds like a plan to me!! I'm currently only using bag seed. Using Lowryder is almost cheating!! They grow like mad in comparison!! But I'm down.. also, I feel ya on the job thing man!! I'm in the same boat!!!

I decided to rig up a screen for my box. I wanted more surface area for the cola's to get light on. So I bent the screen slightly to do so. It seems like it is working alright for now. I did make it out of fishing line, and pop-sickle sticks and hot glue! The Hard Tards dream team of equipment.

On a different note, I believe If one of these plants becomes male, I'll do the DWC on a new Clone. Maybe start growing some Citral in it? Or would Citral be too large of a plant to fit? hmmm...

They both are girls!! I couldn't see it with the naked eye, but luckily my girlfriend has a bad ass camera, so I would take advantage of the amazing ability to do macro shots. Here are some pictures of the ladies, Abby and Aysel!

man i wish i could start asap, BUT i'm still on the job hunt since i just graduated so i can't grow in my dads house, well i could but he has no idea i smoke and i intend to keep it that way. so until then i'll be lurking on these forums and learning as much as i can. lol sucks but just gunna have to wait til i get a job and move my ass out haha

So Abby and Aysel are 51 days old today. They have been under the 12/12 for 3 weeks 1 day. On a new note. I have taken a clone, rooted it, and put it into my SWC. It's a normal plastic coffee can. With a 40 gallon air pump. The air line is attached to two 1 inch air stones. So there are plenty of bubbles. The roots look really good, they have dropped a lot in the last two days!! Also, the pistols on Abby and Aysel, are looking good as well. So far so good.

lookin good dude. i like the new swc. clean simple and cheap to make. are you gunna stay on top of ph levels and stuff? i wanna try hydro but it just seems like there is way more to go wrong with more consequences. guess all i would need is a good ppm meter and a ph meter. i'll watch and learn from yours ah thank you lol

as do i so i will also be checkjng out hoe this goes for you then maybe ill take a cutting and throw it unto one of ur SWC coffee cans! looks like it working great just a quik question...is that perlite u have the plant in or is that the hydro balls? only asking cause im on my phone and cant get a good zoom in on it...if so then i have everything i meed to do hydro in my box!

Well I don't have much of a choice but to stay on top of the PH level. It's a need to be done. I'm just nervous about adding too much nutrients. I really don't want to fuck this up.

Yeah man, I used a jiffy cube to drop some roots, put a good number of holes in the pot. Then filled the pot with Perlite. It seems to be working just fine. The main reason I did this, was to keep the light off of the roots. I don't have any hydroton balls, so perlite is going to have to do. Good luck with it too man!!

Where could I get a PPM meter? I've been looking, but can't seem to find one?
