Day 20 of flowering/halfway through week 3

Alright so more good and bad news.
The bad news is i had to scrap the Bogglegum plant. So this is now a one strain grow. The spidermites just got too bad on the bogglegum and had webs on it and caused it to wilt and all sorts of things, so i let all the mites go over there sprayed it, killed them all and the eggs. and today i pulled it out while doing a res change. sprayed down the box while nothing was in there, my plan was to kill them all, let most of them settle on the boggle, spray again. then remove the plant while all the eggs and the mites are on it, thus keeping as many as i can off of the Hindu Skunk. So i have that managed. going to the hydro shop to get some more supplys tomorrow.
The root rot on the hindu skunk didnt get too bad, i cut alot of it off and there are already all kinds of new roots and it is still growing, maybe set it back a day or 2 thats all.
Today i washed and cleaned everything as usual, with bleach and then with H2O2 really making sure i have this managed, the rot came back because for some reason my temps went high, but i have that under control now. Refilled the cleaned res with fresh water and fresh solution.cut down to about half strength nutes.
Im sure this plant will keep surviving strong, i hope i get at least 1 oz still ://

10 Gal Water
2 tablespoons per gallon H2O2
2.5ml Per Gallon Pure Blend Pro Grow
11ml Per Gallon Pure Blend Pro Bloom (soil formula)
4ml Per Gallon CAL-MAG Plus
8ml Per Gallon Hygrozyme

Ive got all kinds of nice pics! baby buds with frost! :D

Original Top Cola

Hows about the bud porn eh? :)

day 22 Flowering. begining of week 4.

So i got rid of the root rot, yet again. i really know how to handle it now :) So i changed the res again today, as with my routine to kill the root rot, except today i did something different.

No need in using a big tub, and ive been wanting to be in buckets, so i switched to a bubblebucket :D . now i can really control the root rot, while using less nutes and less water. The temps will stay lower in this bucket and its forsure light proof. Just installed today, and we are good for the rest of the grow. i hope this makes things move alot smoother for me now. i will be sticking to bubblebuckets now, no more tub.
I had dropped nutes to 1/2 strength a few days ago while fighting the root rot, so the plants started showing some defs. but im back up at full strength today and should be going real strong now i hope.

the buds are growing well, still getting some stretch in the plants. putting the frost on a lil bit too ;].
the spidermites are still there, but im working to control them. Using Neem Oil, and Foxfarms Dont Bug Me. and manually killing. so far so good.

other than that, things are looking good. im happy to be in a bubble bucket now! sooo much easier!

comments? i would really like to hear from u guys :)

Just did another res change, trying to keep that root rot down. doing good so far, nice new white roots come faster than rot does. so thats good.

doing a res change in this little bucket is 100times easier than the big tub. i love it. only takes me a few minutes now as to before took a really long time.

plant is still showing quite a bit of deficiencies. mainly an N def, lots of yellowing going on in the lower leaves, hopefully starts picking back up now that im at full strength nutes again.

over all doing good, still growing in height and buds are plumping up a bit, the cola's are forming. nothing really picture worthy on this update though.

hats up guys? i just got an awesome thing in the mail.
I had read in another thread about getting free botanicare sweet, so i did wut it said to do, and i recieved a small 8oz bottle of botanicare sweet.
In this same thread, i read about other companies doing so, now i had planned on switching to General Hydroponics, so i thought maybe i can get free samples from them.
well i emailed/called them (last week) asking for samples of anything in the flora or flora nova line, they were willing to give me some of either but recommended just Flora, so i said that was fine and lone behold, THEY SENT ME FREE SAMPLES! all i had to do was pay a couple bucks in shipping!
this is what i got (FOR FREE!)
16oz bottles of
FloramMicro
FloraGro
and FloraBloom
(thats the whole 3 part system!)

and they sent me extra stuff!
16oz bottle of Liquid Kool Bloom
a bag of Dry Kool Bloom

1 Quart of FloraBlend
1 Quart of FloraNectar
and
a small 4oz bottle of Floralicious Plus
" Concentrated OrganicEnchancer"

quite a bit of stuff for free huh? pretty awesome.

anyone with experience with these? recommend using any in paticular or not using or anything?

Day 27 of Flowering. Almost at the end of week 4
heres a picture update just for the heck of it, been a few days since last one. the cola's are really forming and plumping up. its starting to make me feel real good that its like actually growing.
i have a bit of yellowing in the leaves, i thought N def, and am at full strength nutes, any idea why i might be seeing this? i thought yellowing wasnt supposed to be towards the end of flowering?
anyways other than that its looking pretty awesome, and its a little dank :) also i switched to 13/11 light cycle now till the last 3-2weeks then ill go back to 12/12 i think doing this has really helped the plants grow so aggressivly, i swear i can see them visually get bigger each day.

Look at all my soon to be cola's :) yummm

One of the side cola's

The original Top

lookin mostly good tho :). any help with the yellowing leaves will be nice though :).

I don't think the 13/11 light schedule is a good idea, but do what you want. I assume the yellowing is from N deficiency. Are you using veg nutes still? If not, do your bloom or micro nutes have any N? It's normal for the leaves to yellow so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

i was using some grow roots till now. my bloom formula is 1-4-5 NPK ratio. and then i am putting cal mag in that is 2-0-0. so i should have enough N, idk its weird. i dont like the yellow, but maybe its just gonna stay there? ://

as for the 13/11, its a proven thing to work. ive seen experiements with it in another thread, and asked the people/person who did it. and all say it works.
12/12 for 2 weeks to induce flowering. then 13/11 up until the last 3-2weeks of flowering, apparently it adds quite a bit of growth. its meant to copy some what of an outdoor light schedual.

I changed the water in the bucket today. lots of new roots its pretty awesome, hopefully the yellowing subsides now. this is the 1st day of week 4 in flowering. i was thinking of throwing in some FloraBlend that i have a big bottle of that i got for free, but i didnt, any words on this product? I Put in 2ml of Florlicious Plus in the whole 5 gallon water container, just to see wut it does for me.
Other than that, i used
Pure Blend Bloom 1-4-5 at 20ml per gallon
Cal-Mag Plus 2-0-0 at 5ml Per Gallon
Hygrozyme at 8ml Per Gallon

So far so good, the roots seem to have strength to overcome the root rot at this point, the spidermites i am keeping at a minimum. and the yellowing, well i hope it goes away.

was bored so decided to share with u guys my bong
one of my many pieces :)

Sky Glass 5mm (got a couple months back), and with inline glass on glass ashcatcher that i just bought
Idk if anyones heard of sky glass? but what i do know is its a US company that entirely makes the entire piece by hand, nothing is machine done, as far as i know. The signature is marked by the S under the design, apparently gold and silve dust or something is used in the glass to achieve the color? idk how much of this is true
anyways have a look :)

When a plant starts turning purple, does it do it from the tips of the leaves down? because i think i may be experiencing this?
maybe due to cold temps during lights off? (low 60's probably even lower?)
if so thatll be cool to have a little purple in there :)

maybe the strain has some purple pigmentation in there somewhere?

I'm not sure where the purple starts but my guess is it's from low temps like you said.

HOLY SHIT man if the temps get that low at night ,i would assume its stress from the cold.Unless you got a strain that you know turns purple naturally,,but those temps will cause it to stress and turn purple no doubt!Put a lil heater in there and run it at lights off.

My setup is a 27 Gallon DWC system but i'm using bricks to displace some of the water. But aside from that i'm using 8 12'' air stones and a commercial 80watt airpump for commercial fish tanks and hydroponics its like a hot tub amount of bubbles. Dont buy pet store airpumps there garbage.. The ebay pump cost me 85 bucks and comes with a 8way splitter

Whats up guys?
Ive been out of town for a few days since the holidays. i got back and the buds are really plumping up.
i did my last res change on tues of last week so i did another today. things are looking good, root rot is still around but not really being such a big problem, the spidermites are there but im doing good of keeping them down. i am no longer spraying for them now because i have about 3 weeks to go, so need to make sure it degrades by the time i harvest
i am nearing the end of week 6 i think. today is day 39 of 12/12
looking good for the most part
starting to wind down on the nutes. started adding Botanicare Sweet Grape
as well as Floralicous PLUS.

other than that, heres a big picture update because its been a while!
glad to be back and on here again :)

thanks guys, itll be great to hear from you
