Ok so good news, and bad news. bad news first.
I've now got spidermites it seems. i seen small spots on the leaves and upon inspection i saw little small moving things, and i looked with a microscope and see little small white and black but mostly white animals. What should i do about this? Its on the hindu skunk, and on the bogglegum most. i dont think its REALLY bad yet but i know it can get bad.
help please?

good news, LOTS of new growth and roots on the hindu, explosition of growth!! Ill post a pic later or tomorrow witht he res change. root rot is under control, and the bogglegum finally has the 1st signs of new white roots about to come out of the pot, its growth is slow but its catching up. but the amazing huge growth is on the hindu, i need to just fight these mites now! nothing but problems eh?

ima be goin to the hydro store in a bit to get some neem oil or w/e. my lights dont come on for another hour. so hopefully ill murder them.

yah i hope after this i can control them on my next grow, idk where the heck they even come from!

i have 3 giant redwoods right outside my balcony, so maybe there? i leave my windows open alot so i can get nice and cool air in the room to cool my box down.

Ok, so is it ok to spray these nasty spidermites while lights or on or do i do it in lights off?

Also, a friend recommended, as well as the hydro store, a product called "Dont Bug Me" from Foxfarm
so i purchased that today, i hear it works great and can be used up to about 3 weeks before harvest. The product contains Pyrethrum, which i hear is awesome at taking on spider mites. So hopefully this is the begining of the end for these little evil creatures!! HAHAHAHAHA!!

id say lights off...but im not 100% sure...cus ya the spray may magnify the light and burn them...but i mean i have a 400w'er as well and before i started flowering we used to spray with co2 water and regular water with the lights on and never had a problem...i guess wait for some more pro input

i did it abt 2 hours before lights on, just kinda snuck in there as dark as i can

wut i hear is the stuff in the spray can burn easily cuz its like oil or something? i dont know.
they are looking awesome today
shows nice preflowers, they are really filling up, still growing alot, i hope they get to be decently big
if they weren't lst'd the boggle gum would be about 10inches or so (the runt now, but finally has new roots ready to explode!)
and the hindu skunk would be over a foot
its an awesome plant
really perfect leaves and growing big and fast.

Flowering Day 13
I HAVE BABY BUDS! :D
So today I did a res change, and went with my normal routines of cleaning everything intensely. gave the roots a water and H2O2 bath, even though the rot isnt bad, still making sure it stays GONE.
I also sprayed my box for spidermites while the plants were out of there.

I figure as long as i change my res about every 7 days everything should keep going good now. The water temp is staying down at about 65-70. once it starts passing the amount of time i should change it i can tell that the rot has much for of a chance in returning.

The bogglegum has nice bright new roots, so im expecting it to really finally start picking back up. its still kind of sad, but i think after this change out today it'll start growing like crazy. it had shown to be a real agressive grower in the begining so i hope it comes back with fury! :)
The hindu skunk is really showing my some nice baby flowers :) (see pics) and is continuing to do well. its really getting big, i have her opened up via LST so i have quite a few big tops on it, i think some of the side ones are gonna surpass the main cola! haha. mostly even canopy.
I'm working with spray for the spider mites and also manually killing them. so far thats going good.

my change out went as follows:

10 Gallons tap water
2 tablespoons per gallon H2O2
7.5ml Per Gallon Pure Blend Pro Grow (cutting back on this)
15ml Per Gallon Pure Blend Pro Bloom (soil formula low in N which is why im using the grow still, but i hear using this especially in flowering is really good High in P and K)
5ml Per Gallon Cal Mag PLUS
8ml Per Gallon Hygrozyme

Lights on RT: 75-80F
Lights off RT: 68F
Res. Temp 65F

PH 6.0 (i guess nutes are ph stable, i only changed the res an hour ago, so i will see how it starts to swing)

questions? comments? you know how i love talking to you guys :)

heres my 1st baby bud porn!!!
HOW EXCITED DO YOU THINK I AM?!?!

Very nice! Those first white hairs were really exciting for me too. Keep it up and you'll have a nice harvest before you know it.

So, i was out of town for a few days
i come back to find that the spidermites on the bogglegum have gotton really bad, well on the hindu not so bad.
i may just scrap the boggle
it has nice new roots but the mites are keeping growth down.

more bad news....
the hindu skunk (which had a huge mass of nice new roots)
now has the root rot on the roots quite a bit. not really bad, i may be able to manage it.
if not then i may just start over very soon.
