51 views and no answer? come on im thankful for everyone whos willing to help me :D

lol well i'll shoot..
for ventelation well i would suggest a passive ( or preferably active) intakes in both the flower and veg chamber (both close to the ground but above the line of the soil.) and an exaust in the top corner of each, side by side. (the small 6inch square style PC type fans are great) or inline if you have lots of $$$... but T the two exausts together into one pipe...
soil well organic is nice, anything nice and loose with perlite and a bit of sand...
as you know it' be on GrowBig for the veggie moms...and tiger bloom for the clones to get them into flowering, then BigBloom for final flowering...remember to flush good...
and well other then that sonds like a good setup
lol
my 2cents.:bigjoint:

You're going to have to use active air intakes and exhaust's...the exhaust should be stronger. As for the 250, it will need to be in a vented tube or closed hood, and ducted out of the box. Depending on you're climate in the hottest summer months, it will get very hot inside.

As for you're dimensions. You have to be sure to take in account the actual grow space (from the very top of your medium, too the very bottom of your light).

I'm building a 4'x4'x7' 250 HPS+fluro cabinet, and will be scrogging 2 plants in 5 gal hydrofarm units.

How many plants do you plan on flowering and how long did you want to veg?

planned are ~ 36 plants flowering right after they got roots (6 rows of 6 plants) so i could harvest every week- every 10-14 days :)
electric things will be on the back of the cab(or im thinking about making a small room for it)
just need to know how many pc fans i need and how to wire them then i could use them (or the inline ones u mentioned mijola3 money is not a problem^^)

If money is no issue, then I'd suggest inline fans for ventilation. Also, where will said box be placed? The environment of it's placing will help me answer more in depth.

Ok so for ventilation, I'd go with 265 cfm (or somewhere near that) and that will empty both chambers a few times per minute. As for intake just use a standard inline duct booster fan. Remember to assemble some kind of pre-filter to keep out dust and mites etc.

I've never been big on soil, but my limited experience with it has all been FoxFarm products. And had great results. The ocean forest mix doesn't really need nutes until flowering. For nutes I'd say stick with the foxfarm line.

Don't waste money on LED's when the same results can be gotten from lower watt HID's and high output fluoros.
