9 out of 12 with fuzz so far. 6 should be ready to go within a week.
good luck when you go to birth them.... i was able to make it to that point and then hit a brick wall.... just seemed to stall out....
glad you're not having too much problems with them thus far
damnit, i thought this was the hard part. figured it was smooth sailing from here.
i've followed the direction to a T so far. hopefully it all pans out.could be for you... you can follow directions; im a hard-head who tries to do it all half ass.... just be sure to make a proper fruiting chamber to keep your humidity up....
the closest i got was when i got flustered with the cakes... i cut them into disks and covered with potting soil and misted like a sonofabitch.... eventually colonized the entire pan/soil and made a big ass cake, but the fucker would never pin/fruit...... buried her in the compost pile eventually.... of course that did nothing.

Shouldve been. But perhaps it wasnt as apparent as all that...some lids i only put one hole. some lids i put 3 holes. some i put 4. the ones that had 4 injection site are growing much faster than the ones with 1. the ones with one start at the very bottom center and work there way across the bottom then up the sides. the ones with more holes start at the sides and spread in every direction. more injection sites = faster growth rate. pretty much common sense on that one thoguh.
so how many days should i let the go once they are fully fuzzy? it seems to get thicker and thicker as it grows.
i'll try to make it until next weekend. i have 2 fruiting chambers. i could easily start loading nthem in one by one as they are ready. some are completely covered, some halfway, some just getting started.from what i understand, the standard rule is one week after they take over the cake, so that the myc can colonize the center...
it appears i may have some bad stuff in one of my jars. it is one of the ones i reinjected. it has white fuzz but it looks like it has some green shit growing as well.
