people talk about oh im scared of this or that or im scared of spiders

not many people know what its like to experience a primal fear

mine happens to be syringes

i know what your all saying " i hate needles too"

no not like i do you dont

when i had to get the stupid hepatitis shot to get into JR high a long time ago,

i was under the chair in the doctors office in the fetal position

all of the blood drains from my face and i come pretty damn close to passing out

i go into shock

whats left of me after being 3/4 passed out has the fight or flight response like i have never felt before

im ready to run for my life or kill somebody, cant thin rationally

i cant even look at one, if im watching tv and one comes up on screen as part of the show i still freak out, cant look at it

lets see if i can explain it this way

lets pretend that you know me, you have known me for a while

im a pretty normal chill 20 y/o male who likes to smoke

if you even say "hey look" and you happen to have one in your hand i dont care how good of friends we are, ill just turn around and run

run far away, and i cant really control it, fight or flight response is a very intense and unpleasant feeling

Im having trouble even talking about it... my hands are shaking
Hmmm...I'm not that bad. One time though, I got a nosebleed...which never happens to me...anyway, I went to the bathroom, and looked at myself in the mirror, and saw blood coming out of my nose, All of a sudden I had this vivid mental picture of blood pouring out of my nose...I felt sick to my stomach, and laid down on the floor because I could feel myself about to faint. Then I woke up with my room mate freaking out with a phone in his hand. He thought I was having a siezure or something, because apparently my eyes were rolling back in my head, and I was sort of convulsing for about a minute(the Dr. said it was a normal reaction, my body was fighting passing out). So yeah, long story short I went to the ER over a nosebleed, lol.

worst nightmare ever.. right :D ?
Yeah, cuz then you're stuck with an ugly chick (and very likely and ugly kid) for life

Zombies.Since they don't exist, I'd say dead bodies.Dead bodies freak me the hell out.
I've never seen a dead body. Other than at a funeral of course, cuz we always do open casket. You know us Mexicans, we don't trust them to give us our dead.

HEY STONEY! *tackles you and smothers you with love* What's up woman?

LOL, I do the exact same thing! We have the same neurotic tendencies :)
You're like my neurotic tendency twin!

HEY WIKID!Not much.
As for the dead bodies, I've only seen them at a funeral, or at a hospital, when my dad died, but I've seen them on t.v and in pictures and they creep me out.Last time I was in a funeral home I was thinking how there were probably a bunch of dead bodies getting embalmed behind this closed door...ack.

Ooh, that reminds me of one of my serious fears: being put in a coffin while still alive. I can't remember how old I was, probably around 8, we were at my great grandma's funeral, and the younger kids are generally allowed to run around outside cuz they can't sit still during the wake and all that. So we go exploring the funeral home and find like...the coffin display room. One of my cousins talks me into laying down inside one and then slams it shut and SITS ON IT so I can't get out!

I am claustrophobic, I don't like to have my movements restricted. So naturally, I freaked the FUCK OUT. It was an adult coffin and I was a kid, so it wasn't as bad as it COULD have been, but it was bad enough.

Ew, that's bad. I remember at my dad's funeral, my brother tried to force me to touch my dad's body.I started to freak.Mom made him let me go.
Then one time I was at a friend of mine's baby's funeral. She'd miscarried at about five months, so it looked like a little wax doll...fingers were fused, eyes sealed....and its veins were too small to embalm...so they put it in a freezer overnight. It turned black. And these people were passing this baby around and kissing it.I was horrified. They asked me if I wanted to hold it, and I was like...no thanks. So at the funeral, they made everyone cluster around and take a picture. My friend made me get in cuz I was dating her uncle and she considered me family. So in the first pic, I smiled. It's just a reflex to smile for a pic. Then I realized...oh shit...this probably isn't the time to smile...so in the next pic I've got a kind of horrified/confused look on my face.I had no idea what to do.

OMG, Stoney that's fucking funny. Not the whole situation, just your dilemma over whether or not to smile. The passing around the baby...I'd have to leave, that'd freak me out.

And what's up with this taking pictures with the body? I've never seen that done before until a family friend died. He was a dealer and used to be in some big gang, so a LOT of these gang banged out lookin fools come to the funeral, and they all start taking pictures with the open casket! Throwing up gang signs and fucking being all up on shit. It was seriously pissing me and my family off, because it just seemed so disrespectful...

As for your dad, that's fucked up that your brother tried to force you to touch him. I remember the first time I touched a dead body was at a funeral and everyone walked up to the casket and either touched the person or kissed his forehead. I kissed his forehed. It was very cold.

My sister miscarried about a year ago and the whole family was at the hospital just to see the baby taking his last breaths. They were passing the baby around and they asked me if I wanted to hold the baby and at first I was " no I don't want to hold the baby " but after pondering over it for a couple minutes I decided that I didn't want to live to regret not holding the baby during his last breaths. So they handed it him to me and at first I was cool but all the sudden my feelings just overwhelmed me and I couldn't hold it back no more. Started crying my eyes out! Had to give the baby to someone else so I could go out to the hallway and finish crying. ( and I'm not the crying type at all " but that shit really got to me. Makes me sad thinking about it now.

That is seriously the craziest shit I have ever heard. Where the hell do they do funerals for fetuses?

needles ent nice, and my blood stays in my body unless my body decides otherwise. they can prick me once if they like, but they get what naturally comes out, ent sucking NOWT from my arm!

i've kinda been through my bad bad bad point in life, and as a result, nowadays i see it more in terms of what will happen will happen, oh well,

so overall i'd actually say money is my biggest fear right now :S without explaining in detail the centance above, well that as a result allows me to be a pretty formidable driver etc etc, but when i am driving for more than comuting purposes, and some corners start getting a bit touch and go, my only concern is i can't afford to replace the car should i crash, meaning no job and no money, job for the money. it's a sad state of affairs

My biggest fear is not giving my children the absolute best that i can. Life isn't going to be any easier for them, so i plan on doing all i can.

Death doesn't bother me at all. I just want to get everything done before i go. I imagine I'll likely commit suicide when I'm really old. I don't want to spend my last years on life support, shitting myself and being a "burden".
