Yeah, he's got it backwards. The Castle Doctrine was enacted precisely to prevent the scenario he described. The basis of the CD is: Anyone invading your home intends to harm you. One should never have to relinquish his home to criminals. No justification required.

From what I've experienced, the cops can do whatever the want, legal, illegal or otherwise, the laws don't apply to them. It's sad that it's that way because you should be able to trust them. Then all the crazy laws they pass, I just feel sorry for anyone in the system...............

Just read up on the Tommy Chong Story and how they caught him, sad, real sad................
 
A friend of mines house has been raided a couple of times the first time the husband went 2 jail....then 2nd time he got off scott free.......it was in his fridge...seems cops these days rnt 2 keen about a fridge when there searching for weed......

i wonder what kinds off weed disposal this guy used?

I think the cops watch too much tv, there is a lot better ways to approach it than busting in someones door, especially in the middle of the night.
 
they came. they got in. i chewed one morphine after the other like "house" I said in case I had to go. I am legal medical, I showed them my seutup, told them about myself, explained it was for personal grow. Told them about veg and flower. They called their buddy in for training purposes. He said "it's a real live medical marijuana grow!" come see. This guy was like, "you got lucky, I would have taken you in". One cop was a hot blonde chick. Another took pics. They looked around. I kept asking them if they saw my vegetable garden. They made note. They left. I was in my suit. THey said they beleived my story, sorry I was terminal. I said no problem. I have not heard from them since. I have 8 plants in veg. I guess I ok. That was a week ago. I was damn lucky they didn't take my plants or arrest me too, anyway. I called a legal medical lawyer and he said I was lucky but it happens. I told no one. Someone called them and said they heard a woman screaming. I had the tv way up and was alone. The lawyer said that was bull, they told me they had to come in. I was not worried, I was legal. Fuck it. . . I aint a dealer, I dont need the stress. lol. ;]
 
Back Dec.17 2002 myself and my current girlfriend, now my wife, lived in an apartment in Illinois. The cops came and raided our apartment while not home it was 4:30PM. So since we werent home they went and moved their cars 2 blocks away behind some business's. Well I pulled up to my apt and parked out back. Came up the back stairs put the key in the door and unlocked it and opened her up. I had a great welcoming party as they grabbed me by my coat and yanked me in. 4 years and 3 weeks later I was free again. So I didnt get those 5 minutes....damn
 
seriously a big part of me being ok was the fact that I had a suit on for work, I live in a nice place evern if it was a fucking mes that day, I had a "i am a garden guy, mine as well grow my own medicine" look to the place. Trees and stuff. No priors. Legal pill things. No dealer or kid shit. Just old me. Ans I was honest and not threatening. I cooperated fully.
 
Hidden canister of NO in the room for emergencies... Think it would give them a sense of humour about the whole situation? If not you get carried away with a smile on your face :-P
 
I think about this all the time. Even though I only have four measly overnuted heatstressed plants for personal use. I also have three very LOUD barky dogs, who have awesome hearing. One of which would rip someone's head off who came into the house. So is there a vat of stuff you can keep around and throw plants into??
 
This could very well happen in a number of situations.

Cop is at your door for what ever reason. Loud music, dog barking, boat parked illegal in front of your house that is a neighbors friends boat spending the weekend over, etc., ect. Your smoking a J and a cop shows up at the door and you answer. He asks you if that is Pot he smells. You say no it is not. He then requests to come into the house. You ask for a warrant. He says I will have one in 5-10 minutes come outside please and let me tell you your rights. You slam the door, lock it and have 2-5 minutes before he recieves approval via internet and back up......Now what??????????
