Oh i see. your talking about 1 layer of dwc. i see i see. I like ebb and flow because of the levels you can easily make. I get you now. it is a good idea. Ebb and flow once built is easier than dwc. Same thing but just easier to change the water. But yah building its a pain and 10xs as much money. I want my cabinet to hold about 100 plants though in a 2x4x6 foot tall area. couldnt do it dwc. But i love dwc. the results are amazing. I see what your doing now. and yah the bottom buds would develope nicely. always a free ounce down there.

the sun beats out anything

a 6" extractor fan runs at around 50w (less than adding 1 extra T5 bulb) in cool tubes that can cool 3 x 600w HPS. in my old grow room i could touch the tubes i only used 2 x 600w in a room 6 foot long X 3 feet wide x 4 feet tall the plants grew with in 8" of the lights. the room temps 75F

p.s the extra extraction = biger yeilds think of it as adding C02 because with out good extraction your plants are using up the co2 fast. the recomended extraction in a grow room is all the air needs to be exchanged 30x every hour for maximum health and optimum enviroment that plants need to grow to their best. if you skimp on exraction you skimp on yeild! no matter what light you use the air still should be exchanged 30x every hour for the best growth rates and health and yeild

For anything higher, that plasma light I just linked BLOWS ANY HPS OUT OF THE WATER AT EQUAL WATTAGES.

thanks m8. i wanted to try a scrog grow and built that box to do it in. TBH a stright SOG out yeilded it easy i got just over a k.g using the 2 x 600s in a room 5 x 3 SOG on NFT tables i was getting 1500g - 1.5kg that was 52 plants under 1200w. fuck scrog go SOG

that box as long gone im back to a bigger room (10 x 4- HPS= 2200w) these days without cool tubes. although cool tubes kick arse!!! i still got them use them in the summer time when it gets to hot.

kalikit does the uvb lighting actually work? ive heard mixed reviews on it. I'll have to look into it. Wheres the anti hps talk? everyone basically said they use both. Plus its a t5 thread genius!!! what an idiot. I'm also thinking of using hps mixed into the grow.
