SoG Grow Room Discussion

although off topic (i may start a new one)
if i have 4 empty slots in my fuse box and my outdoor unit is 200 amps (all electric house but i dont use a few of the rooms so ill be way under power wise)
how much work is it to run 2 50 foot lines at 20 amps 110/120 v and 2 12 foot lines at 20 amps 110/120v
i can probably run the stuff from existing lines but i figured eventually id like to run lines to my grows exclusively for the lights etc

although i use the cheapest type tents (just bought 2 - 4 foot by 4 foot for 220 with shipping and tax) ive not noticed any problems
im hung both hps and t5s from them no problem......no light leaks and i have them in rooms that are running both sides of 12/12 in the same room.......
i have cheapish vent fans running from the 6 inch flangs and no issues with mold or burned leaves

it depends on whats in your way when running the lines

ive been doing a little research and i think i can run the shorter lines with no problem
they will be 110v 20 amp lines and will have to go less than 10 feet......its the other room that im not sure about......i dont want to drill into the walls so i might have to go around with will be more costly but eventually ill be going there i think
another solution.......
i have a 240v air conditioner line thats a nema 6-15 type plug (thinks thats right .....here is the type of timer/plug

gonna see if i can use my 2 600 digital (can use 110 or 220 with no conversion just a different plug which i have one already) into that which would help

i will prob have to reloc my op, before i start due to unforeseen issues
believe me i want to see my greens grow so bad, but not at the coast of safety

Wow, Sog...that's really too bad. Sorry you've run into some safety/security issue. That's a lot of work you're going to have to redo somewhere else. I feel for you man, but you're absolutely right. Safety/security must come first until laws change. Keep up posted...

i live a strange life in my own home
although i sleep at my gfriends house i do all my growing at my place (she doesnt know ...loose lips ..sink ships)
i dont have any visitors (one friend only) and grow plenty of veggies for coverage and of course eating

Man, I can't believe anybody'd do that size op in a rental; the sheer value [even with a wholesale discount] of equipment compiled alone is enough to float a downpayment on a house! Sorry to read about the setback, whatever it may be. I hope you're able to get up and operational soon.

I've been prepping for the past 4 months
rerouting the built in heater and AC ducts in the attic
run power lines to the attic, and added floor space (all by myself with no help)
money and time invested in just prepping the area was few grands alone
when my landlord finds out about it, at least he should be happy with the added space
I've done everything to code while maintaining the current structure in tact
and more to assure proper operation, planed for a long stay up to recent events

That is a huge amount of work by yourself! Having those dark room tents makes a lot more sense when they have to be struck down in a quickness. Truly a shame to have to leave so much vested energy behind.
