How do weeds get their flavor. I know that Blubbery flavor is natural. But is chocolate, strawberry, or other crazy ass flavors natural? If so how do they do it? If not how do they do it?:confused:

I have not smoked any of them flavored bud's. I smoke my own and some from a friend of mine and we haven't grown any of that yet..

I got some strawberry sowerdiesels last year and it was crazzy... and what was even crazier was that it tasted and smelt like strawberies... and some chocolate weed chocolate flavored... was odd.

I have a friend from B.C and he loves to talk about the flavors hes smoked.
But how do they get the flavor in side?

thats what I want to know, your Mr. Ganja lol...... is it sprayed or... I remember in high school... ... biology? about splicing seeds. can you splice strawberry seeds with cannabis seeds? and get a weed plant with strawberies haa. SOMEONE TELL US HOW ITS DONE! I want a plant like that! smokes and munchies all in one. its jenios

Im pretty sure its developed from breeding many different strains until one is discovered with such properties. Its not like they cross a strawberry with random weed.

These tastes are naturally occuring in some plants. Traits such as extreme taste, yield, potency...etc can be brought out through selective breeding and selection over generations of plants. This is one reason why folks buy seeds from reputable breeders and why some strains like dj Short's Blueberry are legendary. You just need the right seeds/clones to get the flavors.

My brother and I both used to work at this Pharmacy and we got the Idea to flavor our smoke with this flavor agent that we used to flavor the medicine for children. so we put a few drops on every bud from this half ounce we bought let it dry for a day and tasted our creations. Most of them tasted pretty awful as smoke but oddly enough blueberry strawberry and watermelon all smelled and tasted amazing on the other hand chocolate vanilla bannana and cherry all tasted awful and burned black on the bud there were two or three other flavors but I dont remember what they were and I am way to baked to remember any time soon

I am not a breeder but I have read a thing or two about how some varieties were made. I have successfully grown Blue Berry and am currently growing a similar type called FLO. Flo is said to be a mixture of Sativa 60%- a mixture of Purple Thai and Oaxaca Gold and an Afghan Indica 40%. I haven't detected any special flavor from these plants yet. Who knows. They are still on the vine!

The majority of the time its crossbreeds between other flavors but if you want u can make your weed taste smell like any fruit or something during curing. if your good at curing and i think its the paper bag method u can make it smell and taste like it
