Hi Mr West, thanks for passing by ive also been reading your journal and your close to harvesting also, sorry about the focus this camera has so many settings its hard to get the pic perfect, but thanks for the comments and the rep...keep watching an hopefully we'll both get a decent harvest, ill be watching ur journal also.....

feb the 13th is bout time of my next harvest then march 20th. Yeah taking pics of plants can be tricky with auto focus lol, specialy in poor light like wen the lights off lol. No worries bout the rep mate ya got some nice buds lol

Sorry i forgot to change res, ive got 6 plants total and 1 of them was topped so 2 main colas so 7 colas in total, ive tried to take pics of each 'head' and also i noticed the light has burned 1 of the taller ones a bit ill cut it out after its dry if it still looks crappy, anyways im gonna write an update in a bit but feel free to comment on the buds, i think they look decent

Ok so an update on today.....

I noticed some of the leaves on the plant were drying up which hopefully is a good thing as it means its near the end of its life...

Ok so i cleaned out the res and i havent added any nutes this week, this week being week 8 and i have to harvest next saturday anyway exactly on 56 days as i need to get it out of my flat....

Instead i added some Vitalink Flush the bottle in Pic 1....basically it flushes the nutrients out of the plant and also is supposed to improve taste etc.....im only using this for 3 days then im gonna flush with plain water.....it said use 5ml/litre but i only had 250mls of it and i use about 90 litres....so i just used it all anyway, im gonna be keeping an eye on it anyway i dont want to mess it up now, i also ph adjusted to 5.8 so should all be ok.......

What does everyone think.......????

Does anyone think i shouldnt harvest next saturday...i havent really got a choice but opinions would be nice....

There are brown hairs all over the cola's but still some white hairs at the top hopefully they'll be gone by next weekend...but is this a sign they're not ready yet???

Also, i ordered some glass mason jars to cure, i was thinking ill let them hang to dry for a week and then cure for 1-2 weeks hopefully the bud will look and smell very good can anyone comment??

I remember reading to leave them in 24 hours darkness before havesting does anyone know of this or think i should do this, let me know what you all think i really need some input/info....??

Also lastly im estimating now between 10-12oz dry what does anyone else think....one of the plants is completely frosted compared to the others i cant wait to smoke it...i just wish id taken clones but ill know for next time......anyways comments all please..........

ive tried the 24hrs dark thing b4 harvest and ive done it during lights on and to be honest i think its a waste of time the 24hrs dark thing. Th e best way i know how to know when ya plants ready is by looking at the trichromes and seeing a fair mix of amber and cloudy, have you got a scope for that? The buds are looking nice and frosty tho mate hmmm wish i had that in my box lol.

thanks Mr west, ive got another problem/question for you......basically i now have to move my plants tomorrow evening as someone is coming to view my property on wednesday, but as i used net pots all the roots are tangled up, do you think i can cut the roots to seperate the pots and make for easier transportation or is this gonna stress /shock the plants too much????

Basically id leave a lot of root matter so they would still be able to flush but do you think the stress will mess my buds up, let me know what you think, or anyone for that matter, thanks

in my advice it would shock the plant... but then again if its nice and big and stuff then it might not even make a difference because ive accidentally took off some roots... not trimmed or anything but i still think it puts stress on it

Oh re cant u move them together? in litter trays or some thing?

umm put them in bags like the black trash bags around the pot, then put it where ya need it, so that way it doesnt destroy the roots and you wont have water or roots everywhere

Ok so i had to harvest today because of security issues but i managed to get my hands on a microscope quickly and i checked the trichs and they were half cloudy half amber which im sure is good and also means they are ready........i have been doing the manicuring for the past 6 hours and im going to bed, just thought id post some pics for you to all have a look at.................

Okay ive got a few more pics having trouble uploading but i will do tomorrow, anyways i am so tired so its bedtime for me...i will post a long update in the morning but to be honest i am so happy they where shagged 2 months ago and now it looks like ive got some top quality bud which is gonna be dried and cured right....the bud LOOKED top class after i removed most of the leaves and smelled very nice hopefully it'll all turn out nice....

Any estimates on dry weight, i know theres more than i thought but any opinions would be nice

Hey insane sorry i havent done a bigger post im just so busy an tired but all is good, thanks for the comments,

As for the dry weight i personally think there is about 10oz there but i may be wrong however that would be quite amazing as they were almost dead....but we'll see when it is dry

Also, if you look in one of my pics you can see a big old school microscope in the background with slides lol i did however get to see the trichs which were half amber which was an added bonus...

Ive been looking at the bud today and it looks like da bomb....one of the plants was iced over and i cant wait to cure it properly and smoke some but as for now its drying, also it is sticky as anything i love it

Hey Mr west, gonna leave it to hang dry for about a week then cure for another 1-2 weeks, i got loadsa glass jars so its all good, im moving out on the 31st and setting up 4 tables ebb & flood for harvest every 2 weeks flowering straight from clone a la al b. fuct method, so this year looks good, anyways keep posted ill update with pics as the dry goes on and also final weights etc.....
