well the wet weight always goes down to about a 1/4 of the original... someone posted a threat how he got 700g wet and then when it dried it was only 127 or something like that

Ok thanks insane i know it goes down dramatically but i didnt even weigh it when it was wet im just going on what an oz usually looks like by eye but we'll see soon enough.... i got it drying in a room with an extractor fan and also a heater so its about 40% RH and 26celcius so it should dry quite fast...

As for my next grow i think im gonna stick mainly with white shark cos it looks da bomb and as ill be gettin rid of some of it i want it to be top notch the only thing ill do this time is as i will be flowering staright from clones i will look for the best pheno and keep cloning that and keepin clones as mothers for next cuttings so it should all be good, when ive got it all running smoothly im gonna experiment with some other strains but as my 4 trays represent 2 weeks each i need a strain that has a short flowering time (8 weeks) so it has to be indica-dominant.......

Any ideas what strains are short flowering time with good yields anyone ??????

Ok so they been drying for 2 days now and they already seem fairly dry, when do you guys reckon i should transfer them to the glass jars? Also how can i tell when they are ready to be transferred.....

Im touching the outside which seems dry even a bit crispy but i can still feel there a bit moist deeper in the bud, if i let them go 7 days hanging its gonna be dust i reckon.....

Ive still got some trimming to do on the buds should this be done just before i put them in the jars??

Get a stem about 4-5mm thick and try to snap it, it should snap not bend.

You might need to reduce the temp a bit to slow it down.

Ok some dry weights and pics for you all, its only been 3 days since chop and its dry and lookin an smellin beautiful















Ok so the weights are as follows

REMEMBER I HAVE ONLY DONE 4 PLANTS ANOTHER 2 TO BE DONE WHEN I WAKE UP I BEEN DOING IT 4 HOURS ALREADY.....

Plant 1 - 26g
Plant 2 - 70.9g
Plant 3 - 46.9g
Plant 4 - 48.4g

So total so far about 192g still with 2 plants i reckon im gonna end up with about 10oz the 26g plant was by far the smallest i still have a 60g and a 43g in my opinion (wild guesses) left to do but we shall see tomorrow...

I have only dried 2 days and ive been smoking it all day and it is amazin it already has a strong smell and nice taste and has got me absolutely licked anyways sleep now.....

so i had an accident i let my clones get too big and the roots got entangled and about 3/4 fell over and i had 39 clones =/
so i can to rip some roots off and stick them into bigger nets and now i have to cut my budding plants short of an extra week of budding to move those suckas in... sucks...

Ok hi all a little update....i harvested the other plant and in total with the other plants i ended up with just under 11oz which is a very good result as far as im concerned it is top quality skunk. I did get rid of most of it to recoup my equipment costs and a little drink for me and ive kept about 2oz which im keepin for myself to smoke. My guy has been hassling me for more so it must be good.....

Ok so a question to you all. i plan to do sea of green 20 plant per tray with 4 trays all flowering each 2 weeks growth each. Im only lookin to get 1 oz per plant but 20 every 2 weeks is decent....

I wanna stick with great white shark has anyone got any opinions to this....ive read and witnessed its a fast growin indica dominant plant so it should be perfect but i was wondering about flowering straight from clone......any problems anyone has had???

Basically my next grow starts in 2 weeks where ill be growing 10 GWS mother plants for about 4 weeks, and then taking 20 clones letting them root for 2 weeks and putting them in flower, and then every 2 weeks after that....a question - when is the earliest i could take clones off the mothers??

I wanted to do a few strains does anyone have any recommendations of a nice indica dominant 8 week flowering strain???

Good estimate on your yield there ldn, nice!

You want the mums to be mature before you start cloning, so staggered nodes and pre-flowers are what you want. You shouldn't have any problems flowering straight from clones, especially with two weeks rooting time.

what happend?? hope you didnt get busted! if you are still growing u better off going dwc style and after cloning give ur lady's 10 days veg under ur 600w and around 9 weeks flower last week flush, you might hopefully hit you 1oz a plant, and btw 16-24 plants under as 600w is a bit to much, try going for 9-10. and aiming for 1 1/2oz a plant. everything else looks great!
