The pantyhose worked dude! Haven't seen any gnats inside or out. The plants are taking off. You're right , I need a net. I ordered one today. The new cuttings are still healthy. A couple more weeks and I should be able to transplant to bigger pots. These plants are way too bushy since I had to remove all the stakes and tie downs. These are taking longer than last time but are way healthier.
:blsmoke: Joining team scrog then? Sweet as dude! :blsmoke:

Net arrives today. The gnats are gone again. These plants are soo much healthier to this point than last time. I'm not completely on the mark with the amendments, but, that's why soil is my medium. I looked this morning at the small cluster of pistils on top and was kinda shocked to see trichomes already clustered there. Waay better than last run. These already have a pretty strong smell too. So glad you told me I could still take cuttings after flowering starts. This is indeed a worthy pheno. Thanks again to Annie!

Apparently, this is what $10 gets you at Lowe's hardware lol. It works though. It's been a couple weeks for the HP cuttings. Another week or so and I'm transplanting up. I'm going to try to keep this line going awhile. Either all of this strain rocks or I got lucky, but, this pheno is amazing. Even I haven't been able to kill it. Last run wasn't wonderful, but they survived. This time is going way smoother.

Analogue.. you dinosaur just kidding, probably more reliable than digital.
I’m yet to see a bad strain from him yet, all healthy robust plants.

Yeah I bought the cheapo timer. I only need it for 12/12. I had to take the 1st one I got back because it didn't work. I am wanting to start his Space Monkey strain. I never expected my cloning method to be successful, but it's been working. A couple more weeks and my scrog plants will get the 400w light. 200w just ain't cutting it. It will be fine for the little clones though. I think I may be able to sex cuttings using this method. It's worth a shot.

I’ve got either space monkey or space cowboy popped and about to go in for this next run.. ha.
Christ I nearly went mad trimming.. both my rooms finished so I had to pretty much trim approx 15lb on my own over the last couple of weeks, I finally caved and bought an electric bowl trimmer for the bottoms at the very end though.. couldn’t bring myself to do the smaller stuff by hand.

Update on my two slow starting Mephisto CDLC.
On day 21 I moved them into their individual rdwc buckets.
CDLC 12_22_2024.jpg

Since then they've really taken off!
Here they are this morning only 11 days later on day 32.
CDLC 1_2_2024.jpg

So far neither has shown any signs of starting to flower yet and I'm hoping to get a lot more growth on them before. Not doing any training other than leaf tucking which is tough to do with fan leaves as big as my hand lol. I've really been concentrating on zeroing in the vpd and dli too and can't believe the water and nutes these girls are demanding.

Set up my drying tent to do some experimenting on ways to speed up my initial seedling growth with some old ILGM seeds I have on hand. Hoping with the superior Mephisto genetics to get some 1lb plants in the future.

Hey, it doesn't matter on the slow start now. You got them this size without them flowering. Dude, you're in good shape. If you care to LST them, you're gonna have a bunch of buds. Even if you just tie the tops over. I'm scrogging my next grow. No sign of flower? If you can say that a week from now, your plants will be amazingly bigger. Now just keep it dialed in and you've totally rocked this run.

I bet your hands ache after all that. I just got through watching a weed documentary called 'High Science' on YT. It's mostly about cannabis farms now and how each is different. Today they had Bodhi himself on a farm. He's an interesting guy. He's collected all these genetics from all over the globe by actually traveling. He looks like one of my friends lol. The HP's are growing fast. Somehow, I've allowed another MG deficiency to develop. Hence the interveinal chlorosis. I'm sure they're rootbound in those 3g pots. This strain needs a 5-10 gallon container. They are so damned thick it's crazy. The net.....I don't see how I never tried before. It's so much simpler than tying and staking all those branches. This round already smells good. I'm glad that I topdressed the Down to Earth flower mix the other day. I just figured out why it's not been doing it. I was using Teaspoons instead of Tablespoons. So 1/4 cup per plant vs 1/8 cup. No wonder they were still hungry. I'm hoping to get all these dumb ass mistakes behind me, but, since it's me...doubtful.

I've tried various forms of LST in the past with mixed results. The videos from the 3 guys consistently growing monster autos all said they don't do any training at all other than tucking and removing a few leaves if they're blocking light or to allow air movement. Now I'm seeing a lot of the lateral branches are making their way out and up. It's honestly getting hard to even tell which ones are the main stems now without looking for them.

Yeah I don’t think I’d mess with them much if they are autos.. can’t afford to stunt anything.

Well it's a week later and they just started to show some signs of pre-flower this morning.

I'm really digging these Mephisto genetics! I've never had two plants grow this evenly and fast.

They doubled! That's what I was saying. It's getting good now. Yes I've also seen those guys that say they do little but tuck and maybe remove a few leaves. A couple of them that I saw run CO2 and/or use air bubblers in the medium if theyre using Coco. It's honestly a personal choice. I enjoy the training. I don't do any HST. I only have a small space so I have to shape my canopies. You've done a good job! They'll likely double in size again in the next 10 days. Just make sure you open up the interior if you want no larf. Good luck!

Thank a lot! I think they'll start stretching soon and I'll start working underneath. I don't worry too much about larf though because I make bubble out of that and sugar leaves at harvest.

Have you ever had a plant top or fim itself? When the 3rd nodes started appearing on both plants the one on the right didn't look right. After coming out a little more it had 2 stems come out instead of one like it had been topped. In fact there might have been 2 more for a total of 4 like it had been fimed. It started getting really bushy so I couldn't tell for sure.

Yes. I've had a couple plants top themselves. It's cool when it happens.

Blueberry Hashplants coming along. I think 400w may be too much at the height im running. I'm thinking of turning it down to 300w. This light has a weird dimmer format. 2 switches. 2 settings each. At 300w I can make the spectrum more red or blue. I figure red this time of flower. The clones are loving the bigger containers. It's turned out to be a great strain to learn to Clone with. I see now where people can really keep new runs going. I need to pheno hunt some other strains but these are keeping me busy.
