I didn't even bother to see how decimated the store shelves were yesterday. The whole of my preparation was to mow the lawn so I don't have over watered 3 foot tall weeds on Friday. Kid has been sent home from school until Friday, wife still has to work from her home office until the internet or power goes out. It's passing us as a strong Cat1, if it hits the north part of the state as a Cat4, well they're screwed. The eye looks to be aiming for St. George Island, in the panhandle, so we're getting the windy-wet side of the storm here on the west coast. The teenager was lamenting we weren't letting her attend any hurricane parties.

Storm surges are going to suck for the coastal people here, thankfully I'm way inland.

Morning all. My wife got flu and covid shots yesterday and the covid (probably, that arm is sorer than the flu arm) really got a reaction. She plans to spend the day in bed. I had covid in July so I have to wait on that, I'll just get the flu one for now.

I know! Which is why it’s so frustrating. Granted, my yard is very lush, so a little hamstrung by my environmental conditions.

I was up at my inlaws around Christmas time and my sis in law said her husband bought her a saddle for Christmas. I asked if it fit her. No one saw the humor in that. Meh, it was perfect.
