The plants in the tent are getting stanky. So we put on the filter. I'm pretty pleased with my exhaust set up. I'm using a 6" filter with a 6" tube fan mounted directly to the filter. The fan is about 1/3 of the way up inside the filter and hose clamped right to the filter. No ducting needed and pretty quiet too. I have a piece of slotted plywood that the filter rests on and that's it. Minimal intrusion into the growing space and no loss of efficiency in ductwork. I'm thinking about wrapping the part of the fan that sticks into the tent with Styrofoam or something similar to see if I can deaden the sound even more.
Mounted.

Plenty of room for two lights.

I was watching that game.
I lived not that far from the epicenter. We were taking a break during the game and playing catch out front with a nerf football. I ran out to catch a pass right as it started. Caught the ball and realized what was going on. So i stood there in the middle of the street with a wide stable stance and rode it out. What a trip that was. It felt like we moved in about a 100’ circle in just a couple seconds. But that initial big earthquake seemed like it lasted forever. Massive continuous aftershocks for hours after too.
All my pals and i were standing out front thinking what in the fuck and a younger neighbor kid rolled up on his bike and screamed “The Golden Gate bridge collapsed!” . Obviously it was sections of the Bay Bridge that had collapsed but still at the time made us realize there was going to be some massive damage from this.

Thank you! Yeah they get full sun all day, and wind now, plus freezing fog this morning. I should have kept my damn mouth shut about the weather lol. I agree I can't cut down a live tree just for a minor convenience.
Kinda figured you were ragin' in the high UV all day long. And trees? That's a scarce commodity over there. So close...but such different environments.
I think we'll escape any heavy frost for a bit but we will be flirting with upper 30's by next week. Your temps don't look as kind. The weed should be AOK...it's the veggies that take the hit. Hopin to finish up the tomatoes...beets are done...green beans may have to get covered a few nights.
It's ALWAYS a dance here (and there) to try to ensure all of that time you put in all Summer pays off at the end. I USED TO worry about the pot but I've grown enough outdoor crops here by now to know it will take far more cold than just about anything else. Only lettuce and petunias do better.

Seein' lotsa plumpin'...but had a liddle hiccup in that I wasn't totally on top of my pH and the creek water changed/dropped from well over 8 to 7....and I didn't catch it for 2 feedings....so everyone got a bit overdosed on the pH low side (5'ish?) and as a result I'm seeing...of all things...what I believe to be a molybendum deficiency. It won't screw anything up too bad...but yeah...rookie mistake! Fuckin old people. I did a micro foliar feed and gave em water directly from the hose a few times to right/raise the pH. Thankfully we are pretty far along in the game so no real worries. Just some magenta hues on a few plants. Dumbass.

Happy Friday the 13th!

Flirting with 80° still.....sunny and nice otherwise. Got two sick kids here today :(

How's everyone doing?
Been doing paperwork since 6am, the data got corrupted and listed 753 items instead of 251. Every year this happens, 3rd year now.
It's easier to create a new list than having someone in the office fix it, so next year it will show 1,004 items.
No one in IT wants to figure out why or fix it, they just mumble and hang up.
Time for another bong hit, they still are ignoring my email about it so I re did the list and uploaded it...again.
