I did my time, too. Twice. Got married at 16, then again at 30. It is good to get married because you get to experience the joy of divorce. What's that old saying? "Why do I keep hitting myself with a hammer? Because it feels SO good when I stop."

So last week i was helping a friend move all there stuff before settlement, as they still looking for their new house i said they could put a sea container on my block until they find a new place. So the tilt truck guy turns up, and after reversing into a mound of dirt, tearing off the mud flaps to a nice newish truck, he then struggles to load the container. Eventually he makes it to my place to unload, he really wasnt having a good day.

So it turns out this guy was with his girlfriend for sixteen years buying a house together, working in the mines on good money, working his arse off every day, so they had a good life together.

a few weeks ago they get married, after 11 days in she says "i dont love you anymore, i want a divorce"

The guy is shattered, has to move out, sell up, quits his job in the mines and begs his old boss the guy with the tilt truck for his old job back,
No kids which is why i think she set up the wedding to make sure in the divorce she gets half.

Poor guy, going to work every day for 16 years, while she's probably humping his best friend or whatever at home, sounds like he's better off now, it would just suck having to start all over again like that, only two weeks after getting married, and after him putting food on the table for so long,

I think we might be going to one also lol
Sounds like way too much work for fun. I'm relaxing with a nice gin & tonic with a twist of lime. It doesn't get any better then this! LOL

So my old Yorkie wanders up and asks what I have. I gave him a sip. He liked it!! Tastes exactly like a perfectly ripe grapefruit so I'm sort of surprised! But he's definitely old enough to drink so here we are on the Friday before Labor Day

I might need to get a room if we stay for the double feature. Nothing is close to here. But a G'n'T sounds great! I'd like a double lime :blsmoke:

Strong wind stripped film of my hoophouse, no damage to the girls.

Wife is slowly changing her mind about indoor growing. I thought marriage is about supporting each other:) But she knows I do what I wanna do anyway. Just need to find place in the house where she doesn´t mind to keep her happy. No major issue, house is big enough and plenty of free room here.

Erotics quiz was O.K., we ended 6th of 16, and no disgrace occured, what i can remember.

Smoke time :blsmoke: .

"I don't wanna fight. You can have the house" (he says with a can of gas in one hand and a shovel in the other) I think this is where that term "Shit Happens" arose. Yup. Ahhhhhh...."love" and shallow graves. :D

Saturday, huh? Okie dokie...if you say so. :D I like that you guys keep track of such stuff.

83/43 today. We're hitting that time of year where we can see 50 degree swings in temps from AM to PM. Only a 40 degree swing today though
Lookin' like a seriously good run for the girls w/these temps.

Seeds are on sale for Labor Day. I told myself I was gonna wait and see what the new Hemp Bill regulations do...if anything...to clone sends/etc. for next year before buying anything....but even with as disappointed/pissed off as I was about the crap ass germination (and then the fasciation) of the Hella Jelly seeds that cultivar is just tailor made for my area. Fastest flowering girl out of all of 'em...and stinky good.

It's only money, huh? :bigjoint:

Good morning! Happy Saturday. Football time. Pizza, beer, and football day. My team is above average and usually sells out a 102,000 seat stadium. They sold 70,500 in season tickets. We have fans! The quarterback has only played one full game but he's still a Heisman candidate. It should be exciting.

I hope your team is above average as well.

Some random comments. The last drive-in movie we saw was Jurassic Park, first run. Scared the shit out of my adolescent daughters. Spielberg is the man.
My football team sucks and will until Jerry Jones dies. Please hurry! Just kidding take your time.
As far as college teams go I am a man without a team.
Right about now I wish I was still in Salt lake. Seems like come September they flip a switch and the hot weather is gone. Autumn is the best. wish I could live in Salt lake in the summer and fall and then Tucson for winter and spring. My skiing days are over I don't tolerate the cold anymore.
3 day golf weekend! And I just re-gripped my clubs. I am in the 4th week of swing speed training and am starting to see results. Back father time I say, back. I am not ready for the senior tees just yet.
