Congrats! Sounds like a good gig and something you were wanting to happen.

Makes me >kinda< glad I'm an olde fook. Kinda. The only job I had that paid truly well and that was worthy of my time was growin' dope. After I did that it was impossible to go back to the regular job schedule/pay scale. I'm betting @tyler.durden knows what I'm saying. Heehee. Such a good gig. Fucked my Social Security monthly take now...but we made up for it a bit then I think. Such a busy, profitable time. Then came legalization. Oh well!

I sure do. I'm still at it, even though profits are only a third of what they were. It still beats any other job. Except music. So I do both. The gold rush was awesome while it lasted, we are lucky we got to experience a lot of its good years...

My 10th would have been last month. Dare I say, these have been the best 5 years of my life? LOL

I did my time, too. Twice. Got married at 16, then again at 30. It is good to get married because you get to experience the joy of divorce. What's that old saying? "Why do I keep hitting myself with a hammer? Because it feels SO good when I stop."

Cleaning out a black hole closet, came across this stash of freeze dried food. I won at a Ducks Unlimited golf tournament. It was an entire array of prepper gear. Water sanitation, first aid, the worst TP, etc. The best by date is 2019 and the ingredient list is alarmingly long. Nice bucket, pitch the rest.

Dude! Insta-drive-in! I miss the drive-in, had one within 10 minutes growing up. And saw everything there! Late 80's...90's..00's......I miss that.
