I used to be ride or die on mason jars, but I’m a convert to Grove Bags. Terpier, fresher and honestly easier to store. Heat sealing for the cure is imperative.

I like my jars. They're paid for and pretty much indestructible. I also use them for making tincture.

I was a busy boy today. Started a batch of tincture. Got my cans washed and holes punched for the next SIP pots.
Picture showing drain hole and can holes. Cans get bottom holes to let the water flow and top holes let the air escape. Drain hole location creates air gap

Micro plastics may well be this civilizations lead goblets.
Glass is non toxic, easily and economically recycled. But it cuts when broken and stupid people can't have that. Hell if nothing hurt stupid humans we'd be up to our eyeballs in them. Oh wait. Never mind just keep pounding out more plastic .
