Newbie needs advice

My theory is that our cat chased them and they accidentally flew in... They were scared to be in closed space so they started looking for the way out and one of them flew right into my plants, he broke the top of one plant and tore the leaves on the other one... I mean... WTF... I started with 14 seeds and now I have 6 and a half plants... I will be happy if at least one of them finishes...

Though I initially wanted to kill those SOBs... I actually feelt sorry when I saw how terrified they were... Luckily they managed to flew out...

I will leave the one with damaged leaves... I think she will be fine.

Maybe get some beads or netting something to hang on the inside of the greenhouse door so theres like two barriers that n the door it should make it less likely to ever happen again

Hi guys, does anyone know what is happening to my plant? I have no idea, the only thing that crosses my mind is that she might be burnt from the sun. Unlike my other plants, she has a lot of direct sunlight in the afternoon that is of course coming through the glass.

Actually... There is a lot of draft in the "greenhouse". Two open windows and two doors... I mean, I keep telling my family members to chill out with making so much draft but they do not listen...And she is next to the window... Also... curtain fell on her... But I can't believe that is the issue... I mean I will move it see what happens but I just hope the issue is not related to bugs or some pests

Do you have a if so look under the leaves and the only bugs that I know for sure is spider mites and that does not look like Spider-mite damage to me

Spent five decades being corporate, husbandly, father to two, avoiding law entanglement, pretending to be part of the establishment. Paid off the last of my dues when my wife passed away last Feb. Now I'm picking up right where I left off in 1972, growing my own. The new tech and flood of information is great, ain't it?

Insert digit into soil two inches and note the sensation of, or lack of, moisture in my three gallon bags. I find I'm on a 2-2-1-1-1 watering protocol (the numbers are pints in a day looking at a week's effort.) Always with 1/4 of the recommended dilution of fish emulsion. My girls are very, very happy. Oh, yeah . . . . I also stream classical music in the grow room. No complaints from the ladies yet.

I just stick my finger in the soil to check how humid it is.

I actually have not added any fertilizer to the soil. I have replanted them maybe 2 weeks ago in a mix of flower potting soil (Ph 6.1) mixed with little coco fiber and perlite. I have no idea if I should fertilize them and when and with what.

BTW, in the country I live in, today we are voting whether to legalize medicinal marijuana and growing at home... Finally.

I need advice regarding fertilization. Namely, I thought not to fertilize but one of my plants is getting yellow bottom leaves. They are slowly dying... That plant is actually the biggest among my plants and I think she has nitrogen deficiency. So today, I have watered it together with fertilizer I use for my flowers. It has a lot of nitrogen but also other nutritients. Of course I will check on it to see if there are some changes...

But now I am wondering how often should I fertilize? I don't want to burn her with chemicals but if I do not see improvement on the plant should I fertilize again or not?

Howdy! Pictures always help with diagnosis, but fertilizer isn’t necessarily a bad thing

Depends on what you’re feeding them, but based on saturation of your medium, every 4 days or so. I’ll give water in between (for the outdoor plants) but it’s been pretty soggy this summer, so feeds have been whenever the containers have started to dry and aren’t saturated.

Keep an eye and see how they react to the feed, then you can pivot accordingly. GL!!!

Edit: I did see you mention it’s a mixed medium (coco & soil), which isn’t ideal. They behave differently so I would keep a diligent eye on ‘em to ensure no issues arise there.

If you can get them outdoors in full sun for some air and vitamin D that’d be helpful.

Yup, she could definitely use a feedin’

Getting some stakes for support might be a good thing also as she looks a little leggy.

If you don’t have anything immediately, then a quick top dress with fresh, nutrient rich soil and a little water. That might buy you a bit until you decide on a fertilizer protocol.

I will add more soil also. Yeah, all of my plants are pretty leggy. I just cannot give them more light so we are rolling with what we have.

I have to wait a little bit longer to find out what sex it is but this Panama Red was grown under a philzon 600 watt are you using a light or the sun?

I give them both natural and artificial light. I have 6 plants, 3 are next to east window, 3 next to west window. One group has morning sun and the other afternoon. And during the night I turn on artificial light. I have small led lights, nothing fancy.

BTW, they have such strong smell that everytime I enter my living room I sense the smell coming from the 2nd floor... So I will have to move the ones that are next to eastern window to other room, together with the rest... Otherwise, I can no longer have guests...

Well maybe you need to find the right guess to come over lol only playing is the smell an issue?

Smell can be an issue depending on who comes. Technically, it is no longer illegal here to grow because the government has recently passed a law that states you can grow up to 3 plants. However, in "society", people generally frawn upon people who smoke... Even cigarettes let alone weed.

Unfortunately that is the case but hopefully eventually change will come and we will be accepted

Honestly, I don't give a shit about being "accepted". I just can't be bothered to talk about it with people who do not understand why I smoke... It's time consuming and I have better things to do...
