Yes I've read about that and considered that. Except for my perspective, you're introducing genes back in as if the plant was a hermaphrodite. You're going to get recessives that you wouldn't get otherwise. It's a fun science experiment, but my preference is just to buy regular seeds, in the old days I just grow a whole bunch of random bag seeds, and get a male plant the regular way and grow them in a separate tent. You may not have space for this so this is your method but I got to tell you this is an introducing things I wouldn't want to do unless I was a pro and had lots of time and money to spare.

Nowadays, you have infinite choices from vendors such as seedsman.com. I'm not advertising it, it's an advertiser on this site, and I bought a whole bunch of seeds from them which germinated well and now hopefully they will grow well. But the bottom line is in the old day, we were smoking random crap from Mexico or Columbia and we were praying that when we grew the seeds out they were good plants. Now we can pick and choose for 7 bucks a feminized seed.

I bought more than one type of seed. I'm going to try the silver on the autoflowers first to try and get pollen to try to pollenate a different strain.

I'm thinking on growing two autoflowers and using the silver on one of them.

But the way the government is acting. We might not be able to grow anything in Ohio. :mad:

i'm currently growing two royal dwarf autos from RQS. i'm keeping a journal over on that forum. i will say, despite "dwarf" in the name, they are the two tallest of the four plants. haha!

Hmm, I was thinking it would be short. Hope they fit in my short grow tent.

It's great to see other members interested in making seeds @Blue_Focus ~ your new project sounds exciting. Btw, really cool profile!

Personally haven't worked with reversing autos or making my own CS, so I'm interested to see your process.

If you're gonna expend the effort, consider silver thiosulfate instead of colloidal silver.
STS has a more profound effect in inhibiting ethylene and requires less frequent applications.
You can buy it or make it.

When I joined here it was the only name I could think of. It's my Blue Focus I drive.

My 999 Silver wire came in yesterday and I'm going to try to make some CS to see how it goes.

I was only going to plant one autoflower but I think I'll start with two and move one out of the tent and spray it and put it back in. I don't want to get the CS on the other in case it doesn't work.

I've watched a lot of YouTube videos on the subject.

I've been watching the YouTube channel called Weed in a Pot. He said to apply it twice a day until you see balls then stop. Once when the lights go out and just before they come back on. That is if you do the light shifting.

Yeah, if you've got the supplies.. All it takes is practice and doing the thing. Colloidal silver works for lots of people. I started with purchasing CS then opted for the simplicity and shelf life of mixing STS. Making your own using electricity sounds a lot more fun lol. Plus when you run out you can just make more!

All in one PH and PPM meter.
Variety of other parts and pieces.

The tent with be in my basement that stays around 76⁰ and 50% humidity.

I'll be using an app for the PAR.

I'm going to wait until the law is in place before I start growing.

Must be from Buckeye state? Me too and I'm thinking of ordering clones and a sp3000 I have everything else
