These were given by the UK awhile back or promised, imagine what they will do with next generation batteries or ones designed for aviation. That might double the endurance or more and that means doubling the range in many cases. With enough range drones like these could place shaped charges on bridges far to the enemy rear and bring them down or weaken them enough that when the first train tries to cross it will collapse. Even a reenforced concrete highway bridge can be cut or rendered useless. Such drones can carry 8ft long shaped charges with standoffs that will knife through them like butter, if placed across the roadway and a couple would render most such bridges useless. They can even place them on side supporting beams or almost anywhere else, even autonomously. For most applications there are other conventional ways of taking out bridges at the enemy's rear, but increased battery power could mean increased range and capabilities in the future.

’None of this concerns you?’: Tapper presses Blinken on Musk blocking Ukraine’s Starlink access

Elon Muskovy will be his new nickname in Ukraine. One of the things Joe and the democrats need to do if they win power is to step on a few cockroaches hard, Rupert and Elon first among them. Uncle Sam does domestic and foreign policy and billionaires sticking their noses in should get a 5-year mandatory minimum. I expect mandatory minimums will work well with billionaires and politicians, though I generally don't support them as a deterrent. Don't target foxnews and OAN with laws, target their problematic practices (that nobody legitimate uses) and thus disrupt their business model. Make it illegal for them to be an agent or propaganda arm of the republican party, it is now, but make it more so and easier to prove and investigate their behavior during covid and J6, do some content analysis. Tucker's staff thought his fans were "cousin fucking terrorists", yet promoted Russian disinformation, election lies and vaccine disinformation, for profit, tax cuts and fascist ideology.

Lots of trenches dug by machine, but very few Russians manning them and what's there can be dealt with by dropping grenades on them from cheap commercial drones. Seems an efficient way to deal with them, better than pounding the trench line with a million bucks worth of artillery rounds and bullets. The big idea is to save as many military munitions as possible, disposing of Russians as cheaply and efficiently as possible while saving the maximum number of Ukrainian lives.
