The intelligence types who ran that operation must be plenty pissed at Elon, some might even think he cost Ukranian lives with the failure of the operation. Uncle Sam can't be too happy either and it just increases suspicions about Elon in intelligence circles and we are in a new cold war I figure. Did the US government pay for those internet connections, I hear they paid for everything Elon gave the Ukrainians. This is the behavior of a US defense contractor?

Media: a sample of the BRICS single currency is presented

Russian Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa Ilya Rogachev presented a sample banknote of 100 BRICS, according to the Iranian resource Iraninarabic. A significant event occurred during the meeting of the Russian diplomat with the Ambassador of the UAE Mahash Saeed Al Hameli. The Russian ambassador handed the banknote to his colleague on the occasion of the admission of the Middle Eastern state to BRICS.

It is emphasized that the 100 BRICS banknote was printed in Russia. On one side of the banknote are the flags of the five BRICS countries, on the other - the symbols of the countries that should be included in the bloc. It is still unknown when exactly the unified currency of the association will go into circulation, but conversations about the need for its creation have been going on for a long time. According to economists, the introduction of a single BRICS currency will, if not completely undermine, then significantly weaken the role of the dollar in world trade.

Let us recall that at the BRICS summit that ended on August 24, six new members were admitted to the association. They were Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran and the UAE. In addition, a dozen more countries have expressed their desire to join the alliance.

One of the topics of the summit was the use of national currencies in settlements between BRICS member states, as well as the creation of a single currency of the organization. The countries participating in the summit are still finding it difficult to say when exactly a new currency might be created. But this desire of the alliance member states has already seriously worried the United States and its allies.

Anyone notice the added zeros below the 100? In anticipation of a 100,000 note? Which may get you a loaf of bread? Maybe not this year but coming soon to a grocery store near you.

I'm guessing that it's where the serial numbers for future bills will be placed but if it's based on rubles you probably nailed it. :)

Wonder how many electrical stations will be in the Ukrainian's sights this winter?
I was thinking about that and what could happen if the Russians blew up the nuclear power plant they are occupying or could destroy the cooling system before leaving. Nato would react I'm sure, but a private message from the Ukrainians might be more useful, "Do it and we will shut the lights off in European Russia as far as the Ural Mountains and we will keep the lights off all fucking winter". If that doesn't bring Vlad's regime down nothing will. The Russians don't have a big supply of transformers or other allies that can back them up with spares and even volunteer crews.

Russia targets Zelensky hometown in missile attack
A Russian missile strike on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s hometown in Central Ukraine Thursday night killed one person and injured at least 54, Ukrainian officials said.

Missile strikes damaged ten buildings in Kryvyi Rih, and many of the injured are in serious condition, Internal Affairs Minister Ihor Klymenko said. Video he shared on Telegram of the aftermath showed what appeared to be an apartment building on fire.

The fatality was a police officer, as were nine of the injured, Klymenko said.
Three people were also killed in a missile strike in the Kherson region, in southern Ukraine, overnight.

Russia’s strike on Kryvyi Rih comes as the country organizes elections in occupied Ukrainian territories. The U.S. has denounced the elections as a “sham,” and others have called out Russia for pushing forth pro-Kremlin candidates in races where they are often unopposed.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken was in Ukraine this week, leaving Thursday after meeting with Zelensky and other Ukrainian leaders. He announced an additional $1 billion in U.S. aid for the country.

During his visit, Russian strike on a market in eastern Ukraine killed 16 people and injured 33 others.
The strikes follow reported advancement by the Ukrainian military in the country’s southeast, potentially signaling a breakthrough in the country’s long-awaited and slow-advancing counteroffensive.
