I wish good clean LSD of reliable doses were available. From what experienced folk have told me, it has unique properties.
Check out reddit's r/microdosing. That's were I found a good source for the 'shrooms I got and there's sources for LSD and other substances as well. I only paid $99Can for a professionally packaged oz of Penis Envy 'shrooms and still have half left in the fridge. I made some proper '00' dosing caps with just 50mg 'shrooms, 500mg Lion's Mane and only 40mg B-3. Had 100mg B-3 in the original formula but I got such a flush off it that it felt like my ears were on fire for a half hour. The B-3 tablets I got are 500mg so I'm glad I didn't just eat one.

I gather the LSD is sold in a liquid form of so many micrograms and you dilute it to the dose you want but could be powder or tablet form too. I didn't really enjoy the high I got on that New Years eve but used to love acid and 'shrooms back in the day. I didn't try no meditative type stuff but just got high and watched TV and played on the interweb.

The one time I tripped, I was astounded how debilitating it was. I could not think straight or perform simple tasks to save my life.
I spent half an hour searching the garage for The Lost Toilet Paper without success and with a profound anxiety. It was there; I didn’t recognize it.
I fear shrooms if a tailor-made quickie lasted thirteen hours paying full fare and another seven not yet really back on my feet.
They are definitely to be respected. It didn't take me long, even as a teenager, to leave them off recreationally (like, at parties). For me, it's all about preparation, setting, purpose. A journey, not a high.

Psilocybin strikes Mushrooms strike me as a solid substance that will induce deleterious effect regardless. Their effects are somewhat amorphous, but unavoidable. In contrast, LSD-25 (which, in all my experimentation, I believe I have only encountered a few times) is highly amorphous, giving rise to Timothy Leary's Acid Test. In other words, acid is a type of drug whose user benefits from practice, whereas psilocybin is mushrooms are more of a "poison."

LSD generally took an hour to take effect. One time I was trying to time it for a party and took it early. Well, it took effect quickly and I looked at my dog and said let's go to the trailer, Brew, I'm not driving anywhere. (We had a travel trailer squeezed next to the back door as an extra bedroom. We were too poor to afford an addition). One good decision. Nobody knew what a dose was. Yeah, many things that get you high are poison to a degree. People I knew used to try Jimson weed. A bad choice.

Low toxicity
  • According to 2 sources

Psilocybin mushrooms have low toxicity, and death from an overdose is very rare. One survey in 2016 found that out of more than 12,000 users who took psilocybin, only 0.2% reported emergency medical treatment. That rate is 5 times lower than MDMA (Ecstasy), LSD, and cocaine. 3,4

‘Magic mushrooms’ are still illegal in Canada. How can stores be opening?

They're pushing the envelope like the grey market pot dispensaries did in the decade before 'legalization' and BC is the leader in things like this. There are plenty of ads for 'shrooms on FB marketplace these days so they're not hard to get.

I expect more dispensaries for clean hard drugs to be popping up even tho the first one got shut down the day after it opened. These are desperately needed to curb the proliferation of overdose deaths plaguing western culture. Here in Alberta they are going with the abstinence model and trying to bring in involuntary treatment programs as if that ever worked. Going backwards seems to be the conservative mantra.

Maybe, maybe not. For sure they'll have people who don't understand consequences or responsibility.
Libertarianism is built on irreducible contradiction. It’s all just cover for fascist plutocracy, with somewhat more subtle architecture than Albert Speer.

If libertarians really honestly believed in not doing harm to others, they’d be the fiercest environmentalists in the union.

Rescue operation underway for ill US researcher stuck 3,000 feet inside cave in Turkey
Rescue teams are working to extricate an American researcher after he suddenly fell ill while 3,000 feet deep inside a cave in Turkey.

Mark Dickey, 40, was on an expedition last week with his colleagues in the Morca cave, located in the Taurus Mountains of southern Turkey, when he unexpectedly began vomiting due to stomach bleeding. He was unable to leave on his own, prompting the leaders of the expedition to seek international help, the European Cave Rescue Association (ECRA) said in a statement released Thursday.

Recovery teams, doctors and paramedics came from across Europe to assist and extract Dickey, amassing to 190 people from 8 countries who have come to help the cave expert, according to The Associated Press.

“Rescue missions from such deepness are very rare, extremely difficult and need many very experienced cave rescuers,” the ECRA said in the statement.

After receiving help from doctors and paramedics, Cave Rescue Bulgaria said on Thursday that Dickey’s health was in better shape and he was able to walk on his own.

Now, the task to remove him presents another challenge depending on the trajectory of his condition. If his gastrointestinal illness worsens, the rescue teams may need to bring the researcher up on a stretcher — a “labor intensive” process that could take 10 days, Recep Salci, the head of AFAD’s search and rescue department, told the AP.

In a video, obtained by Reuters from inside the cave on Wednesday, Dickey is seen upright and thanking the response teams and the efforts by the Turkish government he said “saved my life.”

“The caving world is a really tight-knit group, and it is amazing to see how many people have responded on the surface,” he said.

Fuck. Enough with the cat eating, already. What the fuck is wrong with you people?
A good catatouille is a treat.

Section 6, Paragraph 2 of the law for the protection of animals prohibits the killing of cats and dogs for purposes of consumption as food or for other products.[42]

“It was dead when I found it, Herr Offizier! Wannabite?”

seriously, the only cat I’ll eat (tiptoes around pussy references) is this kind.
