No, not an auto.. first time I tried one of Bodhi’s strains and I hadn’t taken cuttings.. stuff was sensational so seeing if I can get some cuttings to keep the strain

Legend… thank you, apparently running co2 in high concentration till the end inhibits proper ripening and causes foxtailing or unusual growth.. it also effects the trichome production and terpene profile.. I am stoked.. I will try cutting the gas and temps down at week six this time around.
Fabulous observation. It's the same substance that causes apples to ripen and potatos.
A gas, right, that promotes ripening, it's natural, and so a flower, or a nug would benefit from the same gas, right? Wow.

By george, i think you got your answer dude. I knew there was more too it than you just pulled early. You have too many grows under you obviously and too much equipment and knowledge to just fuck up and pull early. Ive had a couple plants that started foxtailing fresh pistils on top of cloudy trichomes. They were too close to the light but i was topped out on space. Im stoked myself to see how this one turns out now. Ugggh spider mites! Fkn gnats! Kill them, kill their families. Ooh i haaaate spider mites. Man i hope you get them gone. They hit mine when i had fat buds and they fkd my sh/t up. Good luck dude. I got 2 ugly ass WW in experimental soil and 4 Kush autos going. They arent big producers , but Mephisto does breed some good ass weed. 70 freaking days from sprout . Its crazy. Gonna have to run Photos this summer when these finish. Too damn hot here for these plants. 70 days from seed.. I will have to have another go at clones one day, but I haven’t really had any wow experiences with them yet

I really didnt believe it would be 70 days for me. I figured you had to have a hydro setup which you do. But, ill be damned if they didnt do it. The yield wasnt great but they were popping pistils at 17 days from sprout. If youre looking for quantity then photos are much better but im still trying strains and i get a lot of sampling done like this. Its great weed. I was outside with about 3 grams in a ziploc in my pocket and my friend said damn i smell good weed when i was 5 feet away.. very loud smelling and terrific buzz. I cant wait to try all of mephistos strains. I guess im a meph head now. lol. Its definitely worth trying.

I’m jealous of that smell.. hopefully cutting this gas early will help me get that stronger smell.

These things were done at 70 days. Like 10% amber on one. No clear on either. They fkn stank from the end of the stretch on. I wanted terps, Mephisto came through. Ive had photos that smelled stronger but not by a ton. These are good autos. ( they outta be at $12.50 a bean) They were as alike as clones and both gave me terrific weed fast as lightning. Id like to get more yield ( im running 20/4 instead of 18/6 this time so maybe...) but it makes it worth it to me when I get this good a weed. I bet with your setup youd do better. On yield anyways. This organic shit tastes like old school weed and ive been wanting that for seems like forever.

i just got my fugue state 3 pack by them. only tried autos a long time ago and they all were males. hoping at $16 a seed these are fems. lol

do you add Epsom salt to help smells? the Sulfur really helps.

I dont think youll have to worry about males with Mephisto. I will say that make sure you got every single thing you need to finish the grow before you start it. Go ahead and start your medium and get the microbes and everything ready. When they start they take off and if you delay anything even just a day or 2 itll cost yield. They grow faster than anything ive seen. Good luck. Keep us posted!

I add epsom salts to my medium before starting and at the start of flower. I also use molasses.

i saw your post about your time schedule 20/4? i found a pdf from mephisto where they say they run almost all their stuff at 24/0. that's what i plan on running for them. it will help me keep temps in range actually. but i was gonna run 20/4 until i found that pdf

i normally add 1 gram per gal after 12/12 and then i bump it to 2g for the last few weeks

Yeah, when i was running ILGM beans alot of them vegged for 5-6 weeks so 18/6 was fine. However, i learned that Mephistos generally pop pistils in 2-4 weeks so you gotta have things dialed in. Before my old lights had no timer so id unplug at bedtime and startup when i awoke. Sometimes 18/6 others 16/8 lol. My 3 bears didnt like it a bit. I saw that pdf you mention after id got my new light with the built in timer. Im a believer. Im not confident in my skills to run 24/0 anymore except in early veg under lower light. I burned some plants up like that. Mephisto has master growers which im not so i give em some rest.

Will give the epsom salts a go thanks, I ran “terpene gold” through flower with my last run but only one really stood out as better smelling than the previous run.. others seem to think it smells good and I have lost a lot of my sense of smell thanks to the long Covid I got smashed with but I am pretty sure I can do better. Cut the gas early, add sulpher and molasses.. assume this will be ok with pure hydro.
