Had root issues, they never dried out they stay wet for days. I saved my grow by transplanting them to plastic pots.
All I use is fabric and never had that happen, but then almost all my growing is outdoors in the soil. I can only think of two things that would keep them wet. First, they probably were made in China with no control over the type of fabric and they used something spongy like that would hold water. Second, the soil might be holding water. Try putting a sample of soil in another pot and if it drains.

Not sure if this is a gag or we are watching a cinnamon tart being made.

I would forgo any further attempt.
Get a houseplant - try that , if you don’t kill it or make a scone out of it , then move up to a tomato plant.
The glaring issue ….. basic gardening skills.

Sorry about being blunt :bigjoint: ( get it ? )

The peppers and tomatoes did very well last summer, practically had a full ass jalapeño tree lol. Tomatillos, basil, lavender, and all the flowers flourished too. I have about 30 thriving houseplants right now. But thanks tho…

Also, I’m being mocked for the cinnamon, but: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8433798/

Lol it's funny cuz I remember putting a little cinnamon on my first ever plant cuz I over watered which caused algae growth. If you're serious then you gotta get serious with your planning. The time to get your nutrients is not when your plant is starving u feel me? Do you have a tent? What kind of light are you planning on flowering with? Proper preparation prevents poor performance

It took quite a while for the seeds to ship and I want to take advantage of the Spring/Summer sun for as long as possible. Is there a seed bank you use that ships quickly to the US?
Lots of them. Go check out the seeds section. U like fems or regs?

Yeah, I gotcha. I really wasn’t very serious about it at first and was just kinda winging it (hence that first plant being a bag seed with a trash medium lol). But I’ve gotten more into it recently and want to give it a solid effort.

I’d prefer to grow outside and allow the change in sunlight to drive flower, which would be around mid-late September here. Do you think it would be alright to start them indoors like I did with these ones, then move them outside after about a month or so? If so, would it be ok to forego the tent?

What do you recommend for nutrients during late seeding and veg? I’d prefer to go organic. What do you think about this combo for the medium (plus some added perlite):

I don't do organic so I can't be a lot of help there. Ive been using mostly jacks or megacrop over the last ten years which is about as far from organics as it gets lol

Lit, Clearwater, strayfox, csi, rado. Cannaventure sells nice fems and last I heard was selling clones too at a really great price. In your position you might wanna really consider that. He has an email on his website and he's pretty responsive.

I get wanting to go organic but it's a lot more work to do it right. If you don't have the time get some jacks/megacrop or gh micro and bloom and do Lucas/h3ad formula and just grow some good easy weed lol get a couple grows under your belt and start cooking up some organic sips or something lol

Ok, thank you. I’ll check them out. Do you think that medium would be solid? The super soil on the bottom with FFLC on top.

Also, what exactly do you mean by easy weed? Lol
