I, in my stoney mind, put it in the wrong thread..glad you still liked it:hug:

Coyote crew let Dog run with them:lol:

But when you think about, it's a good lesson humans can learn..animals teach us so much. They give us more than we can ever give them (short life).

Have you seen Tar* (the movie)? It's magnificent! You'd enjoy it. I've watched it several times streaming now. We could talk about it. I'd be interested in your opinion. I know you said you're not artsy but it's just one movie- a thinking persons movie to be sure.

*Lydia Tar has a Wiki page but she is a fictional composer/conductor..you can look her up.
Looks like an interesting movie.

Wyoming Republicans criticize bill raising legal marriage age to 18. Wyoming is one of 8 states that does not have a minimum age requirement for marriage. A new bill seeks to set a minimum age of 18 with an exception for 16 and 17-year-olds. The Wyoming Republican Party sent an email Thursday raising "concerns about constitutional rights."

and the occasional outraged ram

View attachment 5259203
When I was a kid we had a few sheep. A young ram got caught up in the fence, and Daddy took the opportunity to remove his balls while he was immobilized. Daddy was telling the story to the Colonel (the father of the lady we bought the riverhouse from). The Colonel told Daddy, "I hope I never get caught in the bloody fence when you are around."

Old, old joke.

Jed and Elroy find a sheep in the fence. Jed takes advantage.
“Ya gotta try this, Elroy! It’s great!”

Elroy looks at him sideways, shrugs, says “well all right then” and jams his head into the fence.

this republicunt is running for office, not even in office...which makes this an obvious and sort of pathetic grab for attention...
AND he implies that this is Buttigieg he's talking about...
“I support their request and believe there is ample evidence that previously established legal precedent negates the ‘constitutional concerns’ of an anti-Christian activist who is so extreme that he has described the Wreaths Across America program as ‘the Annual Government-Sanctioned Desecration of Non-Christian Veterans,'” he said in the letter, which was first reported by Fox News."
When Buttigieg said nothing of the sort, that statement was made by the MRFF, which has nothing to do with Buttigieg.

And they actually have a point, which was misrepresented in the republicunt's statement to begin with.
Laying a christian symbol on the grave of a non christian soldier IS disrespectful. The program is good, but care should be taken to insure that the wreaths are only laid on the graves of christian soldiers.
So, what we have here is a lying republican politician who is willfully misleading voters with lies about a good man and a good program....so it must be tuesday.

https://www.politico.com/news/2023/02/15/rick-scott-mitch-mcconnell-senate-gop-00082889

So scott is now going to suck ted cruz's dick?...
There is so much wrong with the republican party, they've been drinking their own koolaid.
"“Who does really well with what we’ve been doing, just spending money like it’s going out of style? The elites do, people who make money off of the government do. Wall Street makes money,” Scott said this week. “Who doesn’t like my plan? Those people.”
And elderly people, and poor people, and disabled people, and all the people who know and support those people....
"“The leader’s role is to support incumbent senators. He certainly did it up in Alaska,” said Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), who supported Scott in the leadership fight. “Certainly don’t denigrate them, don’t say anything negative about them. Financial support is one thing, but just verbal support is his responsibility. So, beyond disappointing.”"
The leader's role is to support incumbent senators? Even if those incumbent senators have a plan that would harm the country, perhaps irreparably?
Blind support for poor candidates seems to be what lost the republicans their red wave victory in the house, and didn't do them any favors at all in the senate, and fossilized fucks like johnson wants to keep going down the same path, no matter how many pits they fall into along the way.
"Scott’s seat is a key cog in the Senate GOP’s plans to win back the majority, and McConnell’s political network is behind him there. Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.), Scott’s successor at the National Republican Senatorial Committee, is behind Scott. So is the chief McConnell-aligned super PAC — even after it publicly sparred with Scott just a few months ago over campaign strategy."
So the republican plan is to support someone with a horrible plan, because they have the voters in their district brainwashed, and will win again?
and their horrible plan will just go away, because you want it to...This is the republican plan of action, ignore it, and it isn't there...

Till they get the fuck over this secessionist shit, till they step back from trying to gerrymander the entire country, till they just admit they don't have a platform of any kind except installing an American sharia state...they are fucked, and very deservedly so.

DOJ decides not to charge Gaetz in sex-trafficking probe
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has decided not to charge Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) in its sex-trafficking investigation into him, the congressman’s office said Wednesday.

The office said in a statement that the DOJ has told Gaetz’s attorneys that it has concluded its probe and will not charge Gaetz with any crimes.

The investigation stemmed from allegations that the congressman had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl, with the DOJ looking into if Gaetz violated sex trafficking laws in paying for her to travel with him, including across state lines.

The probe was part of a larger investigation into Gaetz’s ally and former Florida tax collector Joel Greenberg, who pleaded guilty in 2021 to six federal crimes, including sex trafficking of a minor, identity theft and wire fraud.

Greenberg was sentenced to 11 years in prison in December. He agreed to cooperate with the DOJ’s investigation as part of his plea agreement.

But the investigation into Gaetz hit a roadblock over concerns about the credibility of two witnesses, one of whom was Greenberg. Career attorneys reportedly recommended to the DOJ in September that the department not charge Gaetz based on those witness credibility issues.

Prosecutors also were worried that testimony from the girl with whom Gaetz allegedly had the relationship would not stand up in front of a jury.

Gaetz has denied the allegations that he had a relationship with an underage girl and said he regrets his association with Greenberg.

Gaetz had reportedly sought a preemptive pardon from then-President Trump over the sex trafficking allegations against him, according to testimony from a former White House aide given to the House select committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection.

I have a different take. I’ll trust career prosecutors saying this one would be iffy in court.

That suggests to me that they are working on surer things. The people they’ve lately been placing under subpoena is actually fairly encouraging.
