Well the point about preventing infection is true,I've seen a guy at work who had 3 shots get Covid in August and again in December,I still believe they reduce severeness of symptoms pretty well, just reluctantly had to admit that they do not prevent infection as well as hoped if at all now due to mutation.
The media and CDC were claiming initially that these vaccines were pretty effective at prevention initially when the shots were rolled out.

and? you can have it multiple times, you can have it, get over it, and get it again before you even know you're over the first case. some people gain strong immunity, and some do not. it also mutates quickly, and imminity to one strain is useless for any of the others...

Both Biden and Rachel Maddow promised that you wouldn't get covid or transmit it to others of you got "these shots".

if the world would have taken this shit seriously, it would be over, and it wouldn't have had the chance to mutate nearly as much before dropping back into dormancy.
as is usually the case, stupid humans makes the entire world suffer...and yet we let them vote and raise children.

They were at the time. The omicron variant changed everything.
I know it,I remember when I got my 2nd Phizer shot I thought it was all good, what we have now is people who didn't get vaxed feeling that they got things right because variants came along that infect regardless of vaccination. I don't criticize the shots now because we have the benefit of hindsight and still believe they have benefit reducing the amount of illness. At the time the shots came out they were said to also prevent infection, time and mutation has shown that they don't now,and all I've done is admit to that. I've gotten 5 jabs myself so I'm certainly not in the anti-vax camp.

A better vaccine is on the way that will cover all the bases, testing and clinical trials take most of the time. There are several approaches to this end underway now in various stages of development. Covid is a threat and could mutate into something even worse, more virulent and more contagious, though contagiousness wins Darwin's race. The virus has not just mutated away from vaccines, it has increased it ability to spread too over time and successive iterations. The latest strains evade both vaccines, antibodies and previous infections, but antiviral medications still work.

Masks still work and so do vaccines, since there are several strains around that it still works against, so does washing your hands and staying away from crowds and the sick.

they very well may have put a stop to the virus before it had a chance to mutate IF EVERYONE WOULD HAVE TAKEN THEM....
i don't think it's fair to say the vaccine failed at anything...idiots MADE it fail by refusing to use it. vaccinating half the population is almost as useless as no vaccinations at all, as far as allowing the virus time to mutate in thousands of new hosts, daily

The vaccines have saved millions of lives and while it doesn’t look like Covid is going away anytime soon, the vaccines protect most against serious illness.

5 shots here too and if it’s recommended by medical health professionals to get a 6th, I will.

According to French virologist and Nobel Prize winner Luc Montagnier...

"It is clear that the new variants are created by antibody-mediated selection due to the vaccination."
