Nice setup!! I've never done rdwc I built a system a year ago, about the time I switched over to soil. Are you running a chiller to keep your water temperature down?

Update on progress.. flipped last week, still on veg nutes till after the stretch, taking cuttings tomorrow. Had an interesting show of roots growing out of the trunk of a couple of the big girls.. not worried as it looks healthy as..just hadn’t seen it before

Things have gotten a bit out of control at the blue dream end of the room.. that strain is nuts!! Got turned at the same time as the rest but this thing just keeps stretching!! Hope it puts as much energy into bud growth as it does structure..

Ok, I’m pretty sure I have fucked up a bit.. I have been treating the autos in the DWC like regular plants having not grown them before.. did a major prune on them once before flipping and another one the other day.. then someone told me yesterday you don’t fuck with autos like that.. and that the buds on it won’t develop now. I’m not prepared to throw them away yet but.. yeah. Bugger.

Oh the Shame! Thanks for pointing that out haha it’s Dirt.. it’s in the bush, not in a house. Muddy feet mixed with high humidity, I mopped for the first couple of months then gave up.
next time I have all plants out I am redoing the floors so I can just Pressure wash the floors clean.

Dude, looks like you know what youre doing. I wouldnt try to suggest anything as ive always grown in soil. But I like your setup and your plants look good. I just wanna say welcome to RIU and keep us posted. It looks like you're going to have a lot of bud porn before long and we all love that! I just started back growing again last year after a decade hiatus myself. These LED lights sure are alot more user friendly than those HID's we used to be stuck with. Good luck! Love the name! We used to play that alot when young.

Ahh.. I hope that’s right, I might be ok in that case.. I interpreted it that they will reach the end of their set flowering time and just stop developing and end up with a bush full of popcorn/larf

Another question for the gurus out there..
I flipped everything at the same time in this room, but had many different strains and two different grow mediums and two different chemical lines. It’s confusing me a bit that the side I am growing in deep water culture is taking so so much longer to flower.. and the blue dream especially even tho my other photoeriods are a couple of weeks away from harvest, these things just kept stretching and look like they a only just starting to flower..
i have never come across a strain so slow to flower in the past. It has grown to monster size, the root ball is nothing short of amazing and the thing slurps up over 20L every 3 days but the flower sites are not doing a damn thing.. starting to lose faith it’s gonna work. Maybe a dud pheno?

Dont know about dwc growing but i am growing 2 plants same strain, germinated same day,planted in exact same medium under identical light. Look at the difference. One has got half red hairs and the other just stopped stretching. Literally a month or more difference developing. Shitty genetics for me. Where'd you get your beans?

Hopefully they turn out fine,just late. At least yours are healthy. It is a pain in the ass though when your timing gets thrown off by weeks and you need the space for new plants.

plus I took a heap of blue dream clones that have been vegging for 6 weeks because it looked so healthy and vigorous.. now if it doesn’t flower it’s going to fuck my damn room synch all the way up shit creek.

I know what you mean. That sickly plant just refused to bloom. I thought it was a photo it took so long. Now im a month off or more and Im very space limited. I almost pulled it even though it finally flowered because my younger plant is catching up so fast im gonna need the lightspace. Good luck!

it did head up in the end though? I nearly pulled mine today but I’m giving it another week or two to show some sign of filling out before I axe it.

I dont know. I think im gonna put that ugly girl in the back and give her light to the healthier one. She surely isnt using it all as yellow as it is. Probably get about as much from her either way. Its gonna be all larf anyway from the look of it. Wife likes edibles so I can use the larf instead of my smokin' buds for that. The little plant will have caught the ugly one by this time next week, flowering wise. Its still stretching and already has about as much flowering happening.

Pulled a couple of the girls last night.. at a guess I’d say 17oz between the two.. mind you, always turns up less that you imagine. Damn that gelato is a winner tho.. big dense nugs, no larf and easy to trim. Be keeping that one going for sure.

Shout out to the professor’s nutes too.. sent them a message asking a bit about their ratios and some questions regarding how they manage a one base nute for veg n bloom.. and they sent me a nice sample pack, no charge! Really nice of them. Good customer service goes a long way..
