Yeah there are still quite a few white pistils on those buds. I have one about the same way. Sometimes they get about 85% of the way there and just hang up. Its very hard waiting those last few weeks, believe me i know. I just cut a small top off mine so i have Christmas pot. Its better to take a little than harvest too soon. I know its not ripe, but who of us hasnt smoked a less than perfect bowl ? Even weeks early is better than smoking mexican commercial like 20 years ago. My question ole man is does that bud suit your taste and needs? If so fkn enjoy it and have a Merry and baked Christmas! I toast your undone weed with a bowl of mine:hump:. Besides, we both got more in the works eh? Looks like youre doing a good job. Now that youve got plenty of smoke you can let the rest finish. I swear its always 2-3 more weeks.lol. But like Yogi Berra said,"It aint over till its over" Those last few weeks for a grower are the longest. Good luck! Merry Christmas! Happy Hookapah!

Lack of Patience kills more grows than anything else.
Plants finish when they finish. Pulling buds too early throws all your effort out of window.

As far as that “ slow “ plant - its a heavy leaning sativa ( narrow leaf ) - buds form stacked
spear shapes. They can need longer grow times.
Sometimes up to 16 weeks.

Yep, its true. The wait is worth it. He said he hasnt grown in awhile so maybe now he has the kinks out. Either way he does have a good bit of that stuff so i hope he likes it. I cut a piece because having no weed sucks. Hey Budzbuddha! I just referred somebody other day to your FFOF guide. They needed a more comprehensive answer than im qualified to give. Happy Holidays dude!

Looking good, fucking love hydro. It’s so fast and easy once you get it going. Never done recirculating, just single buckets or totes. Buckets ain’t great for it, to small a volume of water to maintain but totes are great 15 gallons in a 27 and it just stays stable you add solution as needed.

Yeah I will definitely keep those ones that are taking longer and let them finish, just have to find somewhere else for them to do so.. I pulled the other ones.. I was going by the overall colour or the trichomes under the microscope which were predominantly milky with a scattering of amber through them.. I have seen buds just keep on punching out those white hairs after they were done already in the past.. but yes ok, maybe I was a bit too hasty.
Still.. got approx 2.5p from the one light and one of the plants under that light I threw out early as I didn’t like the look of it, should do better next run.

Howdy folks.. thought I put up a snapshot or two of the second run, room is getting there, got a more stable strain set in here this time round (no leggy giants) but still had some different size plants at the start and am missing a plant.. also want to spread out completely next run, want to see that canopy full. Still, not complaining.. Happy with how things are coming along.

This old dog really is learning new tricks.. found 2 leaves with spidermite last week.. carefully removed and destroyed and defoliated surrounding area.. prepared for the worst but today I released predator mites in the room to combat.. I remember looking at these 15 years ago and wishing I could buy them but they were only sold to large commercial farms.. now the future is here!
very exciting!

It really is awesome the gear available now. LED's, Premixed soil , great genetics(once you find them) and even forums like this where growers can come together and show and tell. :) .I didnt think 2 years ago that I needed to learn all the stuff ive had to learn. But now i see that this old dog still has alot of knowledge to glean. The journey is awesome.

People, all I can say is " my life would be different if all this was around when I was a kid." 100%
I know it right? When I was 21 a 400w HPS rig was $250 and was hot and costly to run. Bagseed was all we could find. I payed less than $100 combined for the 2 lights ive pulled 8 runs off of. Yeah man , youre right. If Id had this gear then OMG the fun i woulda had...

The genetics available are fantastic! I am running one of Bodhi‘s “blueberry hashplant” and the quality is just shining through..
I love the wealth of information available.. I had a “research day” Yesterday where I shut all doors and turned off phones and delved into the internet looking for new gro science. Have got myself some uv/far red Leds to play with now.

I do the same thing. Going over forums and grow sites finding tips and such. I havent had a chance to try Bodhi. My love rt. now is these Mephisto 3BOG's. I have never had plants that basically LST'd themselves. Damn things look like a big spider. Started flowering at 12 days They reek already too. I cant wait to order some more strains from them. For us older guys who remember the mexican brickpot, weve entered the promised land. IIRC we can grow 4 plants now in VA for personal use. Good times!

Hi all, long time reader first time sharer. I haven’t grown anything for over 20 years but decided it was time.
am splitting my grow into half RDWC (never tried before but excited to give it a go) and half in hydro ton- (same as in the past)
Took me a bit longer to get the DWC setup running so one half of the room is well advanced and the other is a bit all over the place due to late starts, waiting on seeds and troubleshooting growing this style.. any feedback/advice or just a hello appreciated!
Fancy! Love it

Living in a heavy agriculture area we've always had access to beneficial bugs. I'm super lucky!
What did ya get??

What lights u running for that price? Put me on!
Bloomspect sl1000 100w qboards. I paid $39 each on Amazon with a coupon. They are basically the same thing as Mars Hydro TS600. Im getting a 300w bar style light with tax money. Gonna supplement it with these to use all of my 2x4. Right now im using 3x2. They are good lights for starting a small autoflower grow. Last grow i got over 12 zips outta 3 autos. I definitely have gotten my moneys worth. I think they are $49 now with coupon.
