I use foiled foam insulation like that to insulate and cover my windows and speed taped the cracks. There's zero light bleed and zero heat signature. We have a lot of helicopters around.

Gas,food,electricity,almost everything has gone up. Not sure where you’re located but I know I’m NY state everything has gone way up. Coal has over doubled so has all fuels. Not sure how folks on fixed incomes are making do.

Thats that polystirine bead kind.. the dense foam kind that has foil on both side does'nt leak light,, not even with the light against the board.. like here in this image the board is solid foam and not beads..

Yeah R-tech 1" is only 16$ 4x8 sheet.. other brands sit around 20$ i seen whats called mineral wool foil board thats 100$ a sheet.. thats the prices here in Michigan..

Sure keep telling your self that. I know it has doubled. For example I paid 225 a ton for coal and now paying 450 so yeah that’s over double. Gas has also doubled but I’m glad you’re not paying double. Maybe I should move to your area lol
