Just so you know I use pots like these...
A fraction over 2 Imperial Gallons (10L), just under 3 US gallons. You can grow a huge plant in them if you so desire, without using loads of media. Plus, the lip is hooked so they are easy to pick up and you can hook soft ties under them for east LST.

I love fabric pots.
I reuse my coco so I break up my root mass and I can say everytime the root mass is far bigger far quicker in fabric.
I like to use plastic for veg, potting up for ease but I drill holes in the bottom 3rd of all plastic pots and that works well for building root mass quicker in comparison to not doing it.
Yes you can see salt build up on fabric pots , if they are allowed to dry regularly.

I figured everyone would have their own opinions and good experience with certain products so they stick with them. I've always been a plastic guy. I'm liking the air pots and the Hercules pots. Unfortunately they won't arrive in the time I'll need so I'll have to go with ol faithful plastic pots. I'll make sure to port it heavily, maybe some smaller hole on the sides.

if you are handy, just build 1 with 2x4s and some pond liner. that shit is thick and waterproof for sure install a bathtub drain

Hundo. That's the idea but I wanted a nice plastic one with drain etc. I have fish to catch lol so projects take a back seat. It'll be a while before I actually get around to building it. But I could just buy a table and voila. Maybe I'll do it at work during work hours.

Thanks to everyone whos offered some Insight. More opinions or ideas are welcome! I've got some new things to investigate now. Ordered a BN-LINK Short Period Repeat Cycle Intermittent Timer to try to figure out how to automate watering. Always looking for something else to learn or do to make things better/easier

Go buy a corrugated plastic PVC roof panel for like $20, and cut a section as long as you need. In a 3x3, you'll only need a few feet or so, and its usually like 26" wide, which is wide enough for a few pots.
Using up the whole panel, you can double or triple up layers of thickness to make it stronger, with less framing underneath if you wanted.
Make a sloped table like frame for your panel to sit on (the water can only go 1 way down the grooves, and it elevates pots at the same time), so it runs off into a small wide/low tote, or even a small section of rain gutter, just like a roof does. Put a bilge or condensate type pump in the run off catchment container, whatever it is you use.Keep it all as low as possible. Simple!
I wouldn't pay a ridiculous amount just to ship some little low tide 3x3 flood tray either, that probably isn't even wrapped up or anything, and all scratched or cracked from shipping it.
