That was literally the only thing stopping me from getting a split for my flower room. I already have a large central air condenser beside my house, and never had room for a separate split condenser.Got it. Thanks for input.
It would also be inefficient to put all the hot air back into another room just to be cooled by the central a/c I already use to cool my house. That was literally the only thing stopping me from getting a split for my flower room. Build a cover for it. Hell I’ve seen some people just buy bales of hay to hide them.It would also be inefficient to put all the hot air back into another room just to be cooled by the central a/c I already use to cool my house.
My only option is to put the condenser out back but then the HOA will be a pain in my ass about it. They would ask why I need 2 a/c condensers in the back of my house. It would be hard to explain and I don't want to deal with the hassle.
I need to figure this out
I wish. But in reality there are actual people who do walk thru's to make sure we are in compliance with the HOA rules and regsBuild a cover for it. Hell I’ve seen some people just buy bales of hay to hide them.
Just build a little mock raised planter or something creative.
What about your roof? I hate HOA’s with a passion. Giving way to much power to petty people.I wish. But in reality there are actual people who do walk thru's to make sure we are in compliance with the HOA rules and regs
HOA compliance in your back fucking yard? We left an hoa neighborhood and would never go back.I wish. But in reality there are actual people who do walk thru's to make sure we are in compliance with the HOA rules and regs
Everything on the "outside" of my home in within jurisdiction of the HOA. The walls, the roof, the front and back grass. The reason is because it's all insured by the HOA. Yes, this sucks, but it is as it is.What about your roof? I hate HOA’s with a passion. Giving way to much power to petty people.
This makes me mad and it doesn't even effect me.Everything on the "outside" of my home in within jurisdiction of the HOA. The walls, the roof, the front and back grass. The reason is because it's all insured by the HOA. Yes, this sucks, but it is as it is.
Only heat! Where would the humidity come from?Wouldn’t it just be dumping hot humid air back into the room and wreck havoc on the infrastructure
Now imagine paying $400 a month for it as wellThis makes me mad and it doesn't even effect me.
What if you stuck a nice ugly condenser in your window - not hanging out of course.Everything on the "outside" of my home in within jurisdiction of the HOA. The walls, the roof, the front and back grass. The reason is because it's all insured by the HOA. Yes, this sucks, but it is as it is.
Rule #7 - No a/c units in window openingsWhat if you stuck a nice ugly condenser in your window - not hanging out of course.
I should not live in a HOA neighborhood. I would end up setting the house on fire out of frustration.
you’re right. I was basing this off of how a standard portable AC works.Only heat! Where would the humidity come from?
Alright time to burn down the place.Rule #7 - No a/c units in window openings
