Sweet... I've been eyeing the Honda ADV 150. 70mph, and 70mpg. But shit, I really don't go anywhere. I can buy alot of F150 fuel for $4299.00 I'd still like to have it.
Check out the Navi. Only $1800. Crazy cheap, and kinda like a scooter since it's automatic tranny.

I've had all kinds of motorcycles in my life time, and even raced them for about a decade... but my last Harley RoadKing, I did the math, and between the times it was nice enough to ride it, and between the insurance and payment, It was about a $100 every time I slung a leg over it.

I'm already over 3500 miles with this thing in just under 6 months.

Yeah.. but you live in Cali.... the weather isn't so level here. We can have 4 seasons in a week. 90 days in a row at 100+, and winter at -30 wind chill. This is why I stay up till like 3-4 am... It's so nice on the back porch with a little breeze blowing, crickets singing, and no traffic noise. The daily heat index has been up in the 110-114 range depending on the humidity.

Where I grew up in Ben Lomand i seen so much carnage from Bike wrecks i don’t like street bikes. I then moved over the hill and lost a buddy on 17 and another not so close guy i knew on the 9.

while I was moving up north where i’m at now one foggy morning. Traffic came to a stop ahead of me. Got up to the scene and there was this poor dude smashed into and under the back of a semi truck trailer. Mangled into the back of the rig. Yuck.

i’ll pay more to be safer in my truck then a bike on the street.

Smog. Lmao. That’s almost as bad as uninsured motors. They’re everywhere. I just saw a truck with 2009 tags. Lmao. But very very very common to see cars with 2020 tags still. Busted cel will fault you fail. Haha. And the cars fine. But if you go to the right place. Pay the guy 20 bucks more. They pass you.

I don’t think Ever paid for a legal smog as kid. California carb stamps for every little fucking mod you put on. Wanna cold air intake. Well. Better off short rams because you have to carb stamp pretty much all cold air. And if you buy a Cali legal one. It’s ass. And expensive. Expensive ass. I gave up and bought a new vehicle to not deal with that shit for 8 years.
Just pay and go. Trade up after 8 years.

I crashed a cb750 on the 9 in front of SLV high about 25 years ago. Luckily I was going real slow, but I wasn't quite paying attention, and some dude stopped right in front of me. I was able to stop the bike before I hit him, but the stopping momentum threw me off the bike onto his trunk. I got up and was ok, but the dude just drove away like nothing had happened. I did bust a hole in my crankcase when the bike dropped, so that was a fun learning experience. Yeah, bikes aren't the safest, but that's not why people ride.

I still have about 1/3rd of a 5 gallon jug of gas I filled a couple years ago for the lawn mower. It's safe to say that I have much less grass to mow than you do. Takes me 15 minutes to do the front and back yard.
i got a guy that comes every 2 weeks, takes him and his kid 20 minutes to mow and weedeat, then they're gone...60 bucks a month

Back when I was a young boy we'd go around the neighbourhood knocking on doors offering to mow lawns. We only charged $2-3 dollars. That was back in the 70's though. we'd make $10-15 a day in the summer which was damn good money for a 12-13 year old back then. I offered the kid across the street $10 once to mow my grass and he just rolled his eyes. These kids today. I don't get it.

umm yeah… I keep about 7 acres manicured. The other 5 are trees. I have to do it in sections, and mow every evening if we get good rains, but mid summer, I’ll let the front 5 die out.
